We booked 5 rooms for my Wedding, for myself & family. The owner literally went above and beyond to ensure that our weekend was as stress free as possible. A beautiful, clean hotel, very friendly and the food was amazing. I also had my nails done by the owners daughter, she was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Recently held a family reunion at the Glen, fairly extensive menu to choose from, most of us had something different from the menu, when he food came it was piping hot, cooked to perfection, every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Glen for a meal. Some of the family stayed...

Having returned to this hotel and in a different room, we again found it to be extremely good. Throughout it is very well and attractively furnished and comfortable. Interesting ornaments and pictures give it a country house feel as opposed to the plain multi hotel groups. Heated towel rail, personal control over the room heater and windows that open ensures...

Booked my cousin and his wife in because he is allergic to my cat! He reported very comfortable bed (he is over 6ft tall, so I was very pleased!), really good breakfast, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners were very helpful when I was booking the room. Good value too. I would certainly use the Glen again!

Spent three nights here in May 2016. Comfortable, good-sized bedroom with plenty of tea, coffee and shortbread laid on, and an excellent meal of haggis-based cottage pie on Saturday evening. The hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking Ettrick Water, and warm sunny weather helped the experience. Hope to be back.

Following a delay, which was out of our control, my bf and I arrived, shattered and very embarrassed, at the Glen Hotel at almost 11pm on Sat night! (we had phoned ahead to apologise that we were going to be much later...

We arrived as a large group on a Saturday afternoon, the hotel could not do enough for us. Top rate staff, and a top rate welcome. Highlight of the stay! Breakfast was 11 out of 10. will stay again when in the area without a doubt.

We normally try to stay at this hotel if we are playing golf in the Borders but we were not able to get a room but decided to have dinner on our journey south. The bar and restaurant were busy but we got a nice table for two and enjoyed a fabulous meal that would have cost a lot more...
