We stopped in for a bar supper and were not disappointed! Very friendly staff with good banter, efficient and very cheerful, and our meal was spot on. Will certainly go back again. Well worth the trip out along the Selkirk road.

Spent 2 nights on the 7th and 8th April just passed and were wow'd by the friendliness of everyone ... huge warm welcome from all staff and the fabulous owners. Dog friendly and just sooo relaxing - no silly rules that lots of places have. Just lovely. We are definitely returning asap.

We spent a lovely two nights staying at the Gordon Arms last weekend. From getting there on Friday afternoon to leaving on Sunday morning, we had a great time. The welcome from Leah and Tom was superb, and we shared some banter in the bar during our stay. On Saturday, we decided to walk the 7 miles around St. Mary's...

We were glad we had booked a table as we reckon we would have been struggling to get one if we had just arrived on chance. There is a really great atmosphere in this place,...

I stopped off here for a coffee & to use wifi, en-route to Innerleithen. I sat outside in the sun supping my coffee and shot the breeze with the extremely affable and unbelievably helpful barman/handyman/everyman, an ex shepherd with lots of yarns to tell. Another member of staff was cheerful and equally helpful. The Gordon Arms enjoys a fantastic location,...

Have just spent a wonderful weekend away in this delightful hotel. It has recently been restored after a major fire, so the interior is fully modernised. Bedrooms are bright with views along the valley. The bar serves draught ales on hand pump, and the spacious lounges are also welcoming. Good food is served in the bar or the lounges, and...
