A great B & B in a good location. Walking distance to Burns House and mausoleum. Very clean rooms with a good connection for wi fi. Colin the owner was very helpful. I would highly recommend Dumfries Villa. Breakfast was first class and beautifully presented.

Extremely nice room. Very good breakfast. There is a help yourself setup for cereals, yogurts and juice, and a menu with cooked options. Good WiFi. Garage for a bicycle. 1 minute walk from railway station. Three minute walk to main shops. It ticks all the boxes.

We had a brilliant stay at Dumfries Villa & next time we are back in Dumfries we will 100% stay again! The owner of the B&B could not have been any more welcoming & accommodating. In fact, we arrived at 11.30, and even though check in isn't until 1.30 in the afternoon the staff had made an extra effort to...

Stayed here with my fiancée while down to do Tough Mudder nearby. Owner was welcoming and informative, and room was spacious, spotless and well appointed. Looked there was a recent refurbishment and liked the Egyptian cotton towels in bathroom. Breakfast was cooked with care and was delicious. Beds really comfortable too, and location is in semi-residential area with some b&b's...

My husband & I stayed here whilst visiting his family. Our welcome was lovely, the room was bright, cheerful & very comfortable. I was quite pregnant at the time & the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Ground floor rooms are available, which was a bonus. Breakfast was nice, even if I couldn't enjoy it as much as I'd have liked.

Had a fabulous night here. Had a family room for myself, husband and 2 daughters. After booking.com mixed up my booking I contacted Colin and he sorted everything out for me. He was very helpful from start to finish. Lovely accommodation, great size family room. Breakfast was delicious. If we visit Dumfries again we will defo stay here again.

Stayed here for one night and was given a large room although I had booked a single. Very good situation near town centre and railway station. Good breakfast and nice dining room. Nice garden and off street parking at side of hotel.

Great location less than 10 mins walk from the town centre and close to the station (noise is not an issue here!). The room was comfortable and well equipped and breakfast cheerfully presented and a good quality. The only complaint was the room was too warm but it's a pleasure to say that in Scotland in December (and we did...

Comfortable, welcoming and very reasonably priced. Colin is a genuine and hospitable man and the breakfast is fantastic. Always my first choice when visiting Dumfries. Car parking at the side of the house and a short walk to all the amenities and visitor attractions.
