Good service and we sat in the courtyard. Food was good and good selection of draught beer. Would recommend as a lunch stop if you are travelling the fife coast! Good location for the beaches and the high st.

Where do i start! No air con and only open window on roof has a pesky seagull squawking at us. Says high speed wifi......where? Not even 1 choice comes up when i switch it on. Certainly is a budget hotel with no where to park as the 6 parking spaces are all tooken and can only park on road after 6pm-8am so early rise to move car. Family room needs a good clean as carpets look asif they got cleaned last year, tv all dusty. Next door room had a dog as alot of puffing and panting or atleast i hope it was a dog as walls are that thin. Breakfast is from 7.30am-9am. Continental breakfast was fine, cooked breakfast was ok aswell. Sausage was good quality but black pudding took me back to my younger days off doing a weekender in a police cell. Unless they do a thorough deep clean and spend some money on rooms i wont be back. Sorry 😕

We stayed in top floor family room. Two adults , two teenagers and our dog. Room was spacious, comfortable temperature even although it was 22 degrees outside , tv , coffee facilities and shower / toilet. Hall / staircase looked freshly done up. Some work was being done downstairs but didn’t interfere with our stay. Breakfast was included in price and was great. Choice of cooked and cereals. Some of the furniture in room was a little tired but all was clean and comfortable. Roof window above bed was a lovely addition. My children who are grumpy teenagers said the room had a nice home like feel and enjoyed their stay. We all had a very good sleep. Our host could not be faulted welcoming and accommodating, allowed us to check in a little early to suit our plans for the day. If you need some where to stay in Dumfries definitely come here, you won’t be disappointed 😀
