Stayed here for two nights. Donna is very friendly and helpful, nothing seems too much bother. My room was a twin, bed could have been comfier although everything else about the room was good. En suite was small but shower was fine. Breakfast portion size was very good. The breakfast room is laid out well and again Donna is really...

This was an average B&B. I booked it after seeing the great ratings and reviews. It didn't live up to expectations at all. No sink in the room, we had to share one bathroom with 3 other rooms. Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows very hard. The host was personable, tariff low. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am very sorry that you were unhappy with your stay at Langlands. The room you booked tells you quite plainly that it is a twin standard with a shared bathroom. If you had been prepared to spend a little more money then you could have had an en suite room. I am sorry that you thought the bed was...

5 blokes had a great weekend at this excellent B&B. Beds had crisp white linen and rooms were spotless. Breakfast was super, you could have it tailor made to your own tastes, nothing to much much trouble. Donna was a charming, sociable hostess and gave detailed information on all the best places to visit locally. Only a five minute flat...

My husband & I stayed here whilst visiting his family last year. We were unexpectedly giving a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. No ground floor rooms, but the stairs to the first floor were not too steep (I have walking difficulties) & manageable with my husband's help. Beds were very comfortable & the room had a good view....

Lovely place to stay. Friendly lady looking after the B & B whilst owners were away. She did a really good job. Breakfast was delicious, room large, clean with own bathroom, lovely heater which was very helpful!! Close enough to town so could walk in for dinner.

We needed a stopover on our travels from the West coast of Scotland to Newcastle and found this B&B online. The rooms are comfortable and lack nothing. The hosts are very friendly and gave us some good tips for drinks and food in the city centre. The city centre is close by so can be reached by walk. The next...

We stayed here for one night as cyclists. Donna is a great hostess and the house is a very high standard, the rooms are nicely done. The breakfast is very good with plenty of options. It is a short walk into the centre of Dumfries. Would use this B&B again..

Our family of 4 stayed one night in Langlands B&B before visiting Caerloverock castle the next morning. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Our room (see pics) was spacious, tidy with nice view over the Nith river. To be noted also a fast wifi access , which isn't always the case in B&Bs. The breakfast in the morning was...
