If you like peace and quiet n beautiful surroundings this is the site for you. You will see many birds and other wildlife. The facilities are quaint but very clean and work perfectly. The site owners are friendly and helpful. Everything a low key but the site is beautifully maintained. The price are very reasonable, no hidden extras or add....

Two adults, we took our dog, a 4 man tent, a car and got an electric hook up for 3 nights and that all cost £54 total. The site is family run by nice people, it's landscaped to encourage wildlife as well as having beautifully kept grass pitches. There's a kiddies playground and a 5 acre dog walk area where...

Stayed here just one night as was visiting Mabie mountain bike trials centre. Rang up and booked on same day. Lovely clean and tidy site. Ample space between pitches. We stayed on a hard standing with our motorhome which had electric and water facility. Showers and toilet block was nice and clean. Lovely friendly lady greeted us and showed us...

Lovely site, ideal location for walking, cycling etc. Great dog walk area and good size pitches. The people who run this site are pleasant and very helpful and have put a lot of thought into presenting this site with lovely landscaping. They provide plenty of information about local attractions and events and are more than willing to supply information about...

This was our third visit to this wonderful site. We discovered it by accident in October last year at the start of a two week tour of the Outer Hebrides in our newly made campervan. We were so pleased with the site we went again at Easter this year and were treated to an impromptu ceilidh and easter egg hunt...

Stayed overnight here after torrential rainfall. The campsite lady was most helpful and friendly and found us an ad hoc bit of hard standing for our campervan. She was waiting for contractors to install more proper hard standings. The shower block is a bit dated but absolutely immaculate and very satisfactory. The following day we explored the site in sunny...

What a special caravan/camp site! We arrived with 3 very large family tents and a folding camper which took up a fair space! The site owners were very careful to pitch us on level well drained ground and near to each other. The site is well protected from the elements and offers great facilities; such as laundry, children's play area...

A very well kept, peacefull campsite perfectly positioned for relaxing after a day on the bike at Dalbeattie or Mabie. Plenty of space, good facilities and a donkey, what more could you need? We would definitely stay again.
