We only stayed for one night but it was excellent. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant at the rear of the bar. The food was excellent with a wide choice. Be aware though the portions are enormous. Breakfast was excellent too. The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. All in all a...

My Family and I went for dinner and we enjoyed it. The pros of this Restaurant/Hotel are that the staff are very pleasant, they bring good service and this is very affordable but i would not recommend getting the Macaroni Cheese as it is rather plain and is basically just some macaroni with cheese on top and the garlic bread...

3 adults and 1 child visited for evening meal. We ate in the restaurant at the back of the bar. Everything was lovely but beware, the portions are huge! QStaff were friendly and my "pint of chocolate heaven" was amazing. Would recommend.

Great location and the friendliest owners and staff made our stay a very enjoyable one. The hotel is not brand new but is clean and the food is excellent. We will definately stay there again and they are dog friendly.

It was a huge portion and definitely for sating an appetite after a long walk in the Galloway Hills. Very tasty and I finished it all, with difficulty. No room for pud though. Great...

Been to this establishment on a number of occasions whilst staying in the area. Last week I tried the Friday fish special. Fish & chips, peas (mushy or otherwise), bread and tea/coffee. All for just £7.25! Not only was it cheap, but there was also quality and quantity. Staff all friendly and helpful. The best dining experience is in the...

My wife and I decided to stop off in the beautiful village of Gatehouse of Fleet, to see if we could find somewhere that did Sunday dinners. We noticed that the hotel had an 'A' board advertising a 3 course Sunday dinner for £10. We were a bit dubious because it was so cheap, however we decided to give it...
