Only stayed one night. Staff great and really helpful. Food was excellent. Breakfast a really good range offerings. I had cooked breakfast which was great. The room comfortable and a reasonable size but a bit tired. The original building is lovely. My only real moan is the motorway which was less than 200 metres away at some points. I realise...

An unexpected stop on a long journey brought us to the Gretna Hall. Cheap deal booked on line, we were just looking for a bed for the night. Room was OK, half decent bed that was a bit saggy in the middle. TV reception was pretty dreadful and the WiFi signal was just about non-existent. The shower was no better...

The Gretna Hall Hotel exceeded my expectations. I was sceptical but the room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, it was all very clean. The staff were pleasant and allowed us early check in because they knew we had to get ready for a wedding. We stayed overnight for a wedding at another hotel but stayed in the GHH because...

We attended a Wedding this week and must say it was lovely. The staff are very polite, and looked after us well. Unfortunately, the hotel building let us down. We had room 28, and first off, we were surprised it wasn't a King size bed (nearly all hotels have these now including cheap chain hotels). The room was rather small,...

Spent one night at the Hotel for a Wedding. Initially on the arrival the check in staff were very polite and welcoming but informed the room was not ready even though this was booked weeks in advance. The room that we were given was extremely unclean, the bedding was old and smelt dirty, the bedside lights did not work and...
