Booked this 2 day getaway for our 48th anniversary myself husband sister and brother in law and close friend. First didn't charge any sup lament for sole occupancy infact friend was charged less and had same room as us Arrived lovely log fires Christmas tree's and decorations and warm welcome by staff. Rooms comfortable warm and clean.ok the main motorway...

Just had a two lovely relaxing days at Gretna hall with my gorgeous hubby, our room was spotless, staff couldn't do enough for you, food is fantastic, brilliant value for money , will definitely be going back to visit really soon x

Short break for shopping at gretna outlet.the hotel was built in 1710. Nice old building. Staff friendly at reception,bar and restaurant. Room clean and comfy. T.V tray with coffee n tea. Toiletries included. Prices in bar and food OK. Fast service. There were the usual complainers. Only gripe I-the roast potatoes were not to my liking. good choice of food....

we arrived late afternoon to a rearly nice friendly welcome and asked would we like to order any food or evening meal we were disappointed we didn't have set meal as we were told it was very nice though

If your not part of a wedding party don't bother. I was given the smallest single room possible could not even get the case through the door without difficulty. Bar was packed with wedding guests, so not easy getting served. Requested quiet room. But at 1 .45 am I had to phone the night porter as they were partying outside...

When I arrived I could believe the state of the place, I fully expected Fagan to be in reception, the actual lady behind the desk was brilliant and was doing her best to make me believe this hotel was acceptable.The rooms were awful, and the paper thin walls made you feel that you were in some sort of dormitory as...

We arrived late on a Friday evening and had only booked the hotel as a sleep over destination due to having a long drive. The staff were very helpful upon arriving and even served us a late drink (which we soon regretted). There were a large group of Northern English guests in the bar who were very loud and relaying...

Arrived on the coach and unloaded luggage whilst guide went in too sort rooms when I got too reception the lady behind the desk quite abrupt told me that we should have waited on the coach until somebody came out to us how are we supposed too know this if we are not told the lady was very nice after...

travelled down on a saturday on a dinner bed and breakfast deal with easybreaks for 85.00. lady on reception was lovely and very helpful with my sunday papers. last time we stayed here the rooms were being refurbished and we got one of those and it was lovely. very quiet and very warm but we turned off the room heater...

Selected this hotel because of the convenient location and interesting history. Reception staff friendly, room pleasant and quiet despite 3 weddings being held that evening. Good wifi, generous cooked breakfast, ample free parking.
