Great hotel. Lovely bar food served by extremely polite young chap. Super breakfast. We were up here for a wedding and were well looked after. The guy who looked like a manager(sorry didn't get your name) with a veterans badge on his waistcoat helped us put our flowers on. He then, without batting an eyelid, brought his own car and...

When i'm travelling for business, there are only 4 things i want: nice and good shower, good internet connection, quit room and a good bed. All these 4 were not provided in this hotel. It's a challenge to get wet underneath the shower! You have to use earplugs to prevent the noise of snooring of your neighbor. The only thing...

I would like to put an end to some of the bad reviews this Hotel has had on trip advisor in the past..... Firstly I would like to thank Stewart and his team of staff from Manager to the bar, waitressing and room service. As a family and wedding guests of 19 and one special two year old flower girl,...

Unprofessional greeting by reception staff, abrupt attitude by others, bar closed before 1130. Rooms grubby, sheets clean, fixtures and fittings poorly maintained. Same standard as a Travelodge but less value. It's simply a wedding machine, avoid if your on business or passing through.

Stayed for two nights for a wedding in the famous blacksmiths shop. The hotel provides plenty of parking ,quite a few steps to haul our small suitcase up before having a warm reception from the receptionist . Nice public rooms with comfy sofas etc. our room was on the first floor and was fairly spacious with a comfortable bed and...

The entrance to the hotel looked very smart but once we were shown to our rooms my heart sank. The curtains were stained, the walls were stained, the bathroom had cobwebs on the ceiling. I tried not to look too closely at anything else... That night I slept for about an hour as the sound of banging doors and yelling...

Right after reading all the reviews I will be honest and say I was very concerned...however...please don't listen to any of the bad reviews...myself (bride) and groom checked in on Wednesday 29th October, we was given the key to our room which at the time of booking was a junior bridal suite. Once arriving into the room we were amazed...

Having spent the best part of the year looking forward to a family wedding I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. On arrival the person on reception just couldn't be bothered. We wer just told fill this in. We received no discount for the blacksmith shop which they make a great point in putting in ther brochure. After walking down...
