Nice place to stay the staff were excellent, the room was clean and fresh, it was very quiet the night we stayed so no noise problems. We ate in the hotel restaurant at night but, we were the only people in there all night.

Very friendly place, extremely clean throughout hotel. Staff very amenable, both on the phone ahead of the visit and whilst there. They even managed to amend the days of our visits the week before we went. Bedroom was roomy and the bed was very comfortable. Took us a while to find the wardrobe - it was in the ensuite bathroom...

Visited this hotel on Sunday night after traveling south from Skye. Moffat is an ideal location to break up your journey and only a mile from the motorway with plenty of places to eat and sleep ( try Claudio's). The Annandale is situated on the main road on the left. There is an alleyway immediately to the left of the...

Found a place to stop between leaving the Isle of Arran and returning to the east of England. This is a small hotel in excellent condition and looks like it has been recently refurbished. The room was very comfortable and clean with a superb new shower. There food and service in the restaurant were great and all of the hotel...

Went here with My boyfriend for his birthday at lunchtime. We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff (he turned out to be greeter, receptionist, barman and waiter) The bar area where we were seated was lovely, clean and welcoming. The menu choice was extensive and the food was delicious. We declined dessert as the main was filling...

My wife and I stayed three nights, to meet up with family and as a base for a wedding nearby. It proved to be an excellent choice. Our room (201) was clean, comfortable, quiet and newly decorated (as was much of the hotel). We slept well. We appreciated the historic character of the reception/lounge/bar area. The cosy fire made sitting...
