Floor board makes noise and single glare windows receptionist wasn’t friendly two of us gave two pillows then I had to ask pilau case and pillow also you can hear noise from next room tv and floor boards

The hotel is in a great location, it is only a 5-10 minute walk from the tram stop. We had a great time in the family room, which is extremely spacious and the view is magnificent. One or two wardrobes or even a small table would be useful in the room. In addition to the tram, there are also many bus routes nearby, but we usually walked to the old town, which is also not far away. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. We recommend the Indian dishes, pie and mash, and the children report that the pizza, pancakes, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake were very delicious. :) The employees are friendly. We would like to highlight Mary, who helped us a lot and was also kind. We send her our greetings from Hungary and wish her all the best! :)…

This travelodge was pleasantly surprising. The building and street are well-located in an attractive and quiet (but still central) neighbourhood. The station and amenities were walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. The room was simple and a bit bare, but otherwise fine. I did miss having a hair dryer (one was available on request from the front desk but logistically this is not very handy).

At only a short taxi drive away from the station/old town, it is a great spot for a short trip stay. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the breakfast has good variety. Extra apliances are available on request. We didn't have anything missing as we stayed there, all our needs were met.

Booked only a few days in advance. I don't know Edinburgh at all and the place was easy to find, a nice building and well maintained. A thoroughly comfortable stay, which made the stressful nature of my need to be in Edinburgh much less stressful.

if you will stay for more than 2-3 days, no one will come to clean your room, I asked at the reception and they told me that they do not offer cleaning services in the room, all they will do is give you towels and a to only take your trash. Don't expect too much

Location good very close to Haymarket station on a quiet street. Handy vending machine in Reception, bar and cafe. Single room was adequate except for the shower. It was scalding hot no matter which tap I turned. No instructions for the shower which were needed. No sign on the shower taps to say which was hot/cold. My soap dispenser above the sink was empty when I arrived. I had to use the soap from the shower to wash my hands.

Not your usual Travelodge style as an older building but warm, clean and spacious and everything you would expect from a budget chain. Would not hesitate to stay again. In a lovely quiet area with no busy roads but within easy walking distance from Haymarket train/tram. Breakfast was well organised and nice and hot

Shocking hotel, staff clearly unhappy, room was shocking, broken bed, dirty, noisy, heater was broken, no one in reception, bar open and closed when it wanted. We will never use travelodge again. Used as a hostel and we was never told
