Fraser Suites Edinburgh offer a great location, however their “highlight” would have to be their personnel. They are truly “Hospitality” people - always welcoming, always smiling and willing to help above and beyond the call of duty. We had issues with a clothes dryer in their Guest Laundry. We have to name Yolanda - she tried everything to solve the problem but just couildn’t - however everything else she attempted she delivered on. Yolanda - Thank You, you were great - we have to admit though all Fraser Suites Staff were great.

Hotel's Favourite
It's really the location this is great for, just off the Royal Mile and within easy reach of literally everything needed in Edinburgh. The room was nice, not the nicest I've stayed in, but clean and everything you need in there including a little fridge, kettle, coffee, tea etc... i'd stay here again next time in Edinburgh for the location.

Customer care is easy when everything is good. The true measure of service is how businesses respond during out of the ordinary circumstances. my wife and I checked into the Fraser Suites Hotel on May 2nd and were booked for 7 nights. At the time we checked in, we were charged for the room we had pre-paid for. After calling our travel agent, we were refunded the charge. On May 4th, we received a call from Canada. My Dad was in hospital and had days to live. We immediately notified staff at the hotel we needed to check out in the morning because we were on our way back to Canada. My Dad passed away May 8th, and we emailed the hotel with the details, including a death certificate. As I write this note, we have yet to receive an email or phone call from the hotel. They have not offered a refund or credit for the 5 nights we never used. This is not a hotel I could ever recommend. The location is great, but they do not truly care about their customer. While I may never receive a refund or credit, in good consciousness, I can not recommend a hotel that does not have the courage to find a way to take care of their customer. Jeff T. Canada…

Only good thing is location. On arrival to our room we were greeted with mice running the halls. Reported to reception who just said it’s an old building. Small rooms, no space for suitcases. Can here neighbours noise and everyone they closed there doors our bed moved. Wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

Terrible customer service. Left 2 items behind in the room rang immediately n way to airport and was told they would be kept for me. Rang next day promised I would receive an email…nothing. Rang again and was given an email address to contact…email address didn’t exist. Rang again got Guedo who promised he would ring me took my number and email….nothing. Rang again and asked for Guedo was told he was on the next day so contacted him then, very apologetic said he would investigate and get in touch…..nothing. I rang again to escalate the issue with a manger got Christina who was full of apologies and said she would again investigate, Christiana rang me back and said she found nothing in lost and found and that she would contact head of house keeping and ring me back….suprise suprise nothing. So I rang again left my number and requested a manger ring me….guess what….nothing. I’m obviously now counting my items as gone and can only speculate as to their fate. All round horrendous response and horrendous experience. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I’m appalled…

Indeed our team and Cristina have searched for your forgotten item, as a large property it does take a few days to check including our linen areas. After completing her search, Cristina emailed you on the 30th of March at 22:09. Due to the late hour, an email was felt to be appropriate rather than a call. The sent email was not replied to and with all lost property inquires was closed 48 hours later. I know this is disappointing that the item was not found and that you felt the team should have been more proactive to which we will address with them to ensure that we can offer our residents a quicker response time. Great hotel! Prime location just off the Royal Mile and within walking distance of so many iconic landmarks. Staff was very attentive. In particular, Guido was so helpful accommodating our family so our two rooms could be beside each other. And he also had some great restaurant and site seeing recommendations Thank you Guido! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable with amazing ceiling height, and well stocked with all amenities. Free laundry was a huge bonus! Streets below can be noisy at night, but nothing that would stop me from staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fraser Suites in Edinburgh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location is fantastic, mere feet from St Giles and boasting excellent views; the hotel is steps away from the Royal Mile (it could get a bit loud depending on how busy the town was, but this was not a big detractor and could happen anywhere, so don’t let this prevent you from staying here!!) The hotel is in a very old building, although the rooms have been redone; amenities are up to date and very functional. Cleaning schedule is not every day, and while there was a day when housekeeping forgot to clean our room, this was remedied very quickly and our room was cleaned first thing the next morning. We had a later flight on the day we left, and the hotel was very generous and made sure we could store our luggage. They also offered to coordinate transport to the airport as well, which was appreciated. Overall, we would recommend staying at Fraser Suites to anyone looking for a lovely, clean hotel conveniently located and offering a classic luxe vibe!!…

Great location in the royal mile walking distance to main attractions like the Edinburgh castle and Victoria St. Arrived in Edinburgh at the Waverly train station and it was an easy walk to the Fraser Suites Hotel. The hotel is very close to restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and bars all within walking distance. Guido and his welcoming personality took great care of us at check-in/ check-out and helped us with our luggage.

Wonderful stay at Fraser Suites! We traveled with our granddaughter so the suite worked very well having a pull out bed in the sitting area. It is an older building but updated nicely. Bed was very comfortable the room was clean nice bathroom The staff Ana, Guido and Gonealo were all friendly, kind and helpful. Perfect location! Loved our stay!! Highly recommend staying there

Excellent little hotel perfectly situated on the Royal Mile. The staff is beyond helpful and if they are unsure of the answer, will find a member that can help. Especially accommodating upon checkout was, Guido, who I swear is Jason Mamoa’s double. We asked for a taxi and he knew just when to call so we weren’t waiting around and neither was the driver. A pleasant surprise that we weren’t aware of in the room was a kitchenette. We were happy to have a small fridge for bottles of water to keep on hand. Our only wee complaint was that while cleaning the one morning, one of our bath towels was taken. I made due with a hand towel which was plenty big enough for a regular bath towel so no worry at all.
