Amazing location (right next to the castle and plenty of restaurants). Really beautiful one bedroom suite with high callings and huge windows. Great for a short business trip or long stay with your family. I highly recommend it

Really grata stay. The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations for pub hopping. The breakfast bag is really convenient and the location of the hotel is great. Added bonus are the room darkening blinds. Bed is very comfy too, We slept great!!!

Staff really friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and apartment in general and very quiet. Kitchen facilities included: fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, pans, cutlery, dishwasher, washing and drying laundry machines.

Great location, secure parking in the basement was a real boon. Staff very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated having a washing machine and tumble dryer after traveling for a couple of weeks. And having a separate lounge/kitchen/dining room. Would stay again.

We stayed here for one night and chose based on the brilliant reviews. On arrival to our room we discovered leftover breakfast bags from the previous occupants, bits on the floor and bits on the side table. We mentioned about the breakfast bags, got an apology and someone collected them. That evening after we came back we decided to have a drink before going upstairs. The barman was very nice but didn’t know how to make drinks that were on the menu so got a book out and had to Google it on his phone so we waited 20 minutes for a drink. He really tried but I felt sorry for him and no idea why he’d received no training. On checkout we were able to leave our bags. When we returned we handed over ticket and our bags were brought to us dumped at our feet with no eye contact or communication and then the other receptionist put the phone down from a call she loudly commented to our bag dumper “god, I wish I could just go home” This was such a disappointing stay and I would not recommend. We emailed twice with our complaints but have had zero communication back. I think if we’d had some communication I’d have been less likely to leave this review but feel others should know that cleaning is not always great nor is customer service. Looks like a lovely place to stay but all style over substance.

I so wanted to give Native Edinburgh a 5* rating but little things just let this hotel down. We booked a room with sofa bed but found out ourselves that the sofa bed was broken...no explanation at check-in, no note left on the sofa. So calls to house-keeping and maintenance - all efficient but shouldn't have been our job to do. Eventually a Z-bed was wheeled in to replace the broken sofa bed. Sofa cushion had a very nasty stain on it, dirt in the shower, stains on the bedside table, scuffed and marked paintwork in the apartment and on the door into the apartment, dirty windows...you get the picture, a general lack of attention to details, especially by housekeeping. I thought about giving it 3*because of the problems we had but it's redeemed by its great city centre location.

BOOKING: There were technical issues with the website that prevented me from pre-paying for my reservation. Consequently, I made the arrangements via email correspondence, and opted for a non-discounted room rate (Best flexible rate) that allowed me to defer payment until check-in. STAFF: Friendly and helpful! ROOM: Studio - Comfortable enough. PARKING: Allowing for bag drop from the front sidewalk was much appreciated, seeing as the NCP lot is several blocks away from the hotel. Despite following the NCP app setup instructions and entering the SaverID, I did not receive the discounted rate. Upon reviewing the app settings (after the fact), that detail does not appear to have been saved. A more thorough set of instructions (perhaps recommending that detail be double-checked) might prove beneficial. LOCATION: Parking aside (as that's an issue everywhere), I found the location well suited for my needs. Would I stay with Native again?: Yes, I would consider Native Edinburgh in the future.

it was one of the nicest stays I've had in the whole of UK . Thanks guys , will defi be using Native more and cheers to the team at Edinburgh for making me a loyalist ! We had the one bedroom apartment and it was more than spacious for my daughter and me . Their brekkie in a bag is such a bonus start to your day .. extremely filling oats and juice and a fresh muffin everyday ! I would go back just for that :)) I am so so glad that the hotel next door wasn’t available for my dates haha .

Good apartment hotel although a little snug. Pics probably oversold it a bit as it felt very ‘business’, we had views of an alleyway which was fine. Breakfast in a bag (mini muffin, porridge and orange juice) idea was good, adding a piece of fruit would be better.
