Stayed as was getting a very early flight next morning. For the price being charged (although we were using points), the hotel was very poor. Checkin was perfunctory in terms of service, staff indifferent and room very basic. Toilet seat damaged, usb socket not working, tv that wouldn’t let you cast, air conditioning you couldn’t control, scratchy towels, small bed, no teaspoons in hospitality train, no biscuits, no fridge, zip. I got something from the bar in the evening and two of the staff looked at me and turned their backs. Really rude. We were checking out before breakfast was being served but were not offered a takeaway option. Guy at checkout didn’t say thank you or how was your stay etc. I’ve had more polite service at the corner shop buying milk. Wouldn’t got back again.…

We had a great stay at this hotel. Despite arriving just before midnight we were warmly welcomed and checked in efficiently. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t hear any noise from the airport despite it being only a few minutes walk away. Plenty of choice at breakfast, which surprisingly wasn’t too busy. Will definitely stay again.

We arrived about 6.45.There was nice like food set out like self service were advised last orders for that was 6.30. Looked at other menu it was like a motor way cafe menu so went to next hotel to eat.

Room excellent , comfy bed , no noise whatsoever , great for an early flight . What let’s it down is breakfast , now it is paid for, but if you are getting the first flight at 6am then the 4am start for breakfast is just too tight . Suggest a 3:30 am start . Thanks to all at the Hampton .

We stayed a few times during Covid and have stayed a few times since. We use this hotel whenever we have an early morning flight or a very late arrival. Great clean non cluttered rooms. Very well planned out use of space. Only thing I don’t like is the water from the shower flood the bathroom. Just the design of the shower and glass. Breakfast is really nice and they have a really great selection of teas and coffees. Even my fussy husband really likes their fry ups. I’ve had an evening meal a few times and it’s always tasty. Definitely recommend staying here.

I have to concur with the majority of the 3* reviews. The hotel staff are great. the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the food really lets this place down. I can only comment in breakfast as I arrived late, and left early. It was without doubt the worst cooked breakfast I've ever had. I promise, I really did try to eat the tepid and funny tasting sausage, as well as the tepid and tasteless scrambled egg, but I couldn't, it was utter sh#@e. I would of felt guilty feeding it to my cat. The only way the hotel can get away with charging £178 per night, is it's super close proximity to the airport.

Nice hotel, comfortable room and bed. Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice. Loads of seats and tables and food topped up when required. Great coffee. Very close to the airport and easy walk. Nice to have departure board at reception area. Would definitely stay again

Room and accommodations are nice enough, but... We arrived not long after 7 pm expecting to enjoy a bite to eat from the bar/restaurant. I order a salad only to be told they don't have salads today. I order chicken tikka from the specials menu written behind the bar... nope, out of that too. REMOVE IT FROM THE MENU BOARD IF UNAVAILABLE. Eventually was able to order "scampi". Food quality was horrendous and overpriced. McDonalds would have been 1000 times more satisfying. Breakfast included in the stay was a complete gong show. If you claim breakfast opens at 4 a.m., PLEASE have things ready. The waffle irons were hot, but no batter was available. Heat lamps were on where one would expect bacon and/or eggs, but none was present. Food selection was limited to toast and fruit, a homeless shelter has better breakfast options, God bless them.…
