What a great hotel and not far from the city centre. I chose the hotel because it was in my price range and booked bed, breakfast and evening meal. I booked 2 rooms, obviously for the wife and I in one room and as this was a birthday surprise for my 23 year old daughter, who had never been to...

A welcome surprise to find this hotel so welcoming. We booked a twin and a double room for a one night stop over in Edinburgh. The Hotel is located ideally for a quick taxi ride into the centre of the city. The staff at the hotel were delightful. The rooms were clean and fresh and there was a bar and...

This is a budget hotel, and as such I didn't really expect much at all. Pleasantly surprised to say the least! I've stayed in Hilton Hotels which were about comparable to this Travelodge. The whole hotel was immaculately clean, the room I had was of a very high standard - even the bathroom which is usually the place I find...

Ideal location for where we wanted to be. Easy to walk in to the city centre but frequent buses nearby. Clean and comfortable room except for some marks on the clean sheets and some slight marks in the bathroom. Would recommend this hotel. Helpful staff

I normally stay at Premier Inn but on this occasion I thought I would try Travelodge. I don't think Google map was quite right with the distance from the Lodge to Waverly Station, but I think that Google has enough on it's plate at the moment with it's Tax affairs!! On entering the lodge from the car park, I was...

A typical Travelodge hotel basic hotel clean tidy but no atmosphere, room bright and functional only complaint was the grab rail in the shower was badly rusted. In a good location with free parking and short bus trip to the city centre. Biggest complaint was the breakfast, boring basic selection of look warm food scrambled eggs no fried or boiled
