The worst hotell ever to stay in if you travell to edinburgh for a cozy weekend. The hotell is a party hotell and you can not sleep during the nights because of the loud music and partying... The fire alarm also went on 3 times Every morning.. terrible visit

Stayed here over Easter weekend, had trouble finding it even taxi driver had difficulty. But able to check in and room was basic but what you need very clean bedding and clean towels. The shower was amazing very powerful and hot and you there was free body wash. The hotel is right next door to a very lively pub and music goes on quite late , it didn't really affect us but if had kids with you or wanted peace this isn't the place for you. We couldn't leave on the set time and I asked the lady on reception if we could extend and she was fine and never charged us. All in all a clean nice place not far from main part of Edinburgh town and friendly staff.

Stylish, centrally located hotel with a great breakfast. Plenty of hot water, firm beds, and friendly staff. Best for families. Not so great for noise-sensitive travelers. Translucent bathroom door wasn't a big hit either.

Didn’t sleep a wink due to noise from loading bay of pub next door until 4am 😱. Stayed on a six nations match night so would expect noise from the revellers in the pub next door until midnight but not from the containers and loading throughout the night. everything else was perfect - really clean and comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff.

To say I’m heartbroken this venue is not part of a uk wide chain is an understatement. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and at home Decor is modern and fresh, bedroom suites are ideal and practical and very well kitted out to make your stay that little bit more Communication prior to arrival is fab with prompt replies to our particular requests for my partners birthday, balloons drinks and chocolates weee waiting Facilities - room: hair dryer, ps4, sky tv, complimentary bathrobes Venue: great breakfast provided both continental and cooked - outside connecting venue for drinks until 1am which is open and welcoming Staff - every member of the team was fantastic and really cared about the experience, warm, friendly and relaxed Would I recommend - 1000% great for travellers of all ages

Very modern room and great location. Not sure if my room was the closest one to the dance floor but sleep would have been impossible with even the best ear plugs. Midnight or 1am would have been ok but it went on till 3am. It was the Friday night before Xmas so I assume it is not always like this.

Booked a double room fir a wee city break. I love the cowgate area and found this hotel perfect. Although the music can be heard through the triple layer window system, I didn't find it that bad. No different to sleeping by a busy road. If you feel effected by music, wee earplugs would do the job. Steve at reception (9 Nov) was mega. We will definitely be back. His customer service was the icing on top. We travelled at the start of a mild autumn and had a room on the 3rd floor. The air system I think is heat only and wouldn't go below 21 degrees. Also, no windows are openable at that height, for safety I think, so we found the room really stuffy with no air circulation. That's my only issue though, and the reason it's not 5 star. Room was spotless, liked the complimentary wee teacakes, the style of the hotel is right up our street. The breakfast looked amazing - we seen it everyday but didn't eat as we had alternative plans but it certainly looked mega. The 3 sisters bar is quite cool, but we preferred the Brew Dog next door. A wee 2 minute walk up Old Fishmarket Close sees you plopped right out on the mile. Perfect. Will be back

Great wee hotel. John at reception was the best ! He was so helpful , nothing was a problem ! Breakfast was lovely too and all good value for money in the heart of Edinburgh. We were st a wedding and came back late , the nightclub noise was noticeable so be aware of that !

Really nice quirky hotel, our room was great, was concern about being so close to a pub, but even as a light sleeper I was not disburbed. The shower was amazing!Great location, with it being so close to the royal mile but it says parking, but they have a deal with a secure car park which is a 15 min walk away. Would have been good to know about it before arrival so we could have prebooked in advance.
