Our third visit to this unique five star hotel, still divine.... decor a feast for the eyes, sumptuous rooms with equally sumptuous furniture and bedding, not huge by any means but SO comfortable. All the staff are professional, friendly and very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. The gardens are beautiful (complete with peacocks!) and the upstairs terrace from one...

Stayed a night with my wife as a birthday treat and was so impressed. It's amongst the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The service from the staff is superb with just the right balance of a personal touch without going OTT. A number of the staff members wished me a happy birthday and there was a card in the...

We were with two other couples, so got a peak into the bedrooms they stayed in, all were absolutely beautiful. Dinner in the restaurant was...

We've enjoyed a brief stay at Prestonfields before, so we returned for our 10 years together as a couple anniversary. Everything about the hotel ambience, its facilities and its friendly, courteous staff was a delight, as before. We recommend this top quality hotel to all who expect the best.

This was our second stay at this hotel, having visited it on several occasions for Afternoon Tea. The welcome is both warm and efficient and better than any other five star hotels we have visited. The style is gothic meets baroque with divine flower arrangements and wonderful Aud Nobile scent throughout. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with lovely food....

My husband and I stayed for one night as a birthday treat. We were amazed by the location of the hotel - one minute we were driving down a residential street in Edinburgh and the next minute we were facing an avenue of trees leading to a beautiful baronial mansion house. Throughout our stay we were very impressed with the...

The food was beautiful and the staff were so attentive to us all. They really made it a special occasion. Didn't stay overnight but planning to go in the near future for...
