This hotel is in an excellent location if you want to stay on the royal mile. Its clean, modern and great value. Breakfast has loads of choice. Staff are great. Now the other bits: I dunno if its covid or staff shortage but your rooms are not replenished every day. There is no phone to reception, so you may find yourself walking the floor with loo rolls. Every time you or your neighbours flush the loo there is a droning noise. During day fine, at 4.30 am - not so good. This is a general comment, why do new hotels think we dont need drawers? Overall worth the money, some issues. Definitely get a taxi to hotel from train station, I nearly had a heart attack!! :) Square can get some drunks from 5pm.

Hotel's Favourite
Check-in was seamless and quick. Very nice and helpful staff. We stayed on the 5th floor overlooking hunters square. Room was very quiet. Bed was really comfortable. Hotel is very central and just off the Royal Mile and close to both the Castle and Museum. It was wonderful to see the city coming back to life again. Now is a great time to visit. I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and intend to come back in the near future. Very enjoyable experience.

£85 for a hotel room in a prime location with breakfast so can't complain too much but could have been better. Checking in was slow, confusion over the booking. The room was pleasant but basic, glad I am of slim build when using the toilet! Air con did not work, room got very warm during the night. Breakfast was a free for all which came as a shock while we are living through these strange times.

Location, location, location. Great staff, great staff, great staff. The "new" rooms are very functional, comfy and well laid out.. The rooms are very clean and up-to-date. We normally don't do breakfast here since there are a lot of good places nearby. We always stop in Edinburgh on the way up north to visit family. On our recent trip to Edinburgh, we stayed here for one night before heading up to Aberdeen and on the way back, two nights but then decided to extend our stay for two more nights. We were not disappointed. This place is near the Waverly Train station, easy access to Edinburgh airport, in the Royal Mile, places to go for a meal and drinks are at your doorstep. Street noise was not an issue. We don't know what it is like to stay here if you have your own car. The front desk staff is excellent - especially Florian and Ricky, This place follows a COVID safe guidelines.. We felt COVID safe staying here. This is our home away from home in Edinburgh..

Good value city hotel. Friendly helpful staff. I would recommend the location as it is very central. Good choice of breakfast. We found the staff to be very efficient and happy to give advice on local restaurants.
