Excellent welcome. Superior room, so spacious. Attention to detail. Spa is lovely and so relaxing. Food was fantastic. Brassiere bar staff were great and made a cocktail off menu when asked. Breakfast is great, fresh orange and buffet had a wide choice of excellent food, including haggis!

Where do I begin, Norton House hosted mine and my partners wedding at the end of April and it was the best day of my life! Right from the start of planning, through to the execution of the day, the staff and venue pulled out all the stops to make it the best day ever for everyone involved! We have had nothing but compliments from all our guests over how amazing the staff were, how smoothly the day ran and the venue itself is a beautiful place to get married! The recommended supplier list that comes with planning a wedding here is top notch! Fully recommend Laura for all your planning needs, making sure everything is perfect and organised right up to the day of! Also Victoria for running our day and making sure everything was perfect, and even calming me down right before I walked down the aisle! There are lots of decisions to make when arranging a funeral, accompanied by a constant angst that you may have made a mistake. However, that was not the case when choosing a venue for my Dad’s Funeral Tea. On enquiring with North House Hotel, an appointment was easily made to discuss our requirements as well as view the venue offered and we were met by Kayleigh, Sales & Events Coordinator, who immediately put us at ease. Kayleigh was personable and professional so we felt able to make a booking, as she assured us the hotel would happily vary the set menus offered and accommodate the various dietary requirements our guests and family had. Kayleigh followed-up thoughtfully, ensuring numbers were agreed and arrangements were as we had initially planned. The staff at Norton House Hotel were welcoming on our arrival and ensured that the day went well. Jillian, Cyrus, Saif and Michael in particular were very attentive, ensuring everything was done, and so well done, for us and our guests. I also noticed Kayleigh discretely overseeing proceedings on the day. We clearly made the right choice when choosing Norton House Hotel and that was reflected in the many positive and appreciative comments from our family and guests; the selection of food, its freshness, presentation and the consideration shown for those with dietary requirements were all praised as was the welcoming venue. Lovely stay for my mums birthday. Our room was comfy, if a little cold. Only improvement would be not having to walk over to a different building for the spa and pool etc but I suppose logistics like this can't really be helped, thankfully not raining so no dramas. We booked a spa break via spa breaks.com and unfortunately the only time our treatments could be scheduled was on our departure day, this felt quite rushed so for future visits would prefer to have treatments on day of arrival as we feel we would have spent more time relaxing. Would return, dinner and breakfast was lovely although the breakfast buffet didn't seem the freshest, for the amount of guests making everything from scratch would have been preferable as the food at the hot plates was going cold/dry. A little mishap with being overcharged (for someone else's lunch) and being charged for full price of room when we'd already pre paid the full price of spa break a month prior to visiting. I only realised this when I checked my credit card statement and had to call to have it rectified. Look forward to another visit again soon.…

Very nice hotel. Staff is very friendly and kind. The Hairy Coos in the room are a special touch. We were only here one night but we did enjoy it. Very prompt and friendly room service as well. Showers and bathrooms are excellent! Heated bathroom floor was also amazing! When we are back in Edinburgh we will definitely stay here again.

My partner and I enjoyed an overnight stay in an executive suite. The room and hotel were spotless, food fantastic, staff friendly. The spa facilities were wonderful. Excellent selection of wines available. Such a relaxing stay and would definitely recommend!

My daughter and son-in-law treated us to a stay here and it was exactly that - a treat! Very comfortable and clean with staff who worked hard to make an overnight stay something to remember. The surroundings are beautiful and the spa was amazing. I want to go back!
