Wow! The worst DoubleTree ever. No air conditioning, No refrigerators. No ice buckets. One bottom sheet per bed (no upper sheet at all !) Old, cheap wall radiators. Signs throughout the hotel that show the wrong floors and wrong directions. In fact .. ALL the signs in this hotel are wrong. They show "Front Desk Reception" is on the 3rd floor !! No Business Center even though EVERY floor has signs that lists the business center. Brick hallways like an old Best Western. This hotel is NOT a DoubleTree. It's an old Best Western. We were grossly overcharged for this night's stay. When speaking to the front desk ... they were no help at all. It is quite obvious that they are used to people complaining about this hotel. Lot's of excuses, but absolutely no help for any of issue. They are aware of the wrong signs. They do not care. The people at the front desk said the signs have been wrong for years. A guy at the front desk who would not give me his name said I should send an email to the Reception desk. Right ... so he could delete it. When I raised my camera to take a picture of them and said that I was going to take a picture so that when the manager asked who I spoke to, he would know … this guy flipped out. He came around the desk and said that he would call the police. I quickly lowered my phone and did not take a picture since he was such a hot head. TERRIBLE DoubleTree hotel. An embarrassment to the Hilton DoubleTree brand. …

We had a really wonderful stay here the night before finally getting away on holiday. The welcome was one of the best I have ever experienced. Friendly, warm, enthusiastic and the staff were infectiously passionate about being open to the public again. Just fantastic to receive that kind of welcome. Excellent staff team everywhere we went in the hotel from the reception, housekeeping and restaurant. The refurbishment is top notch. Lovely colours. Fab showers and fluffy towels. Carpet in room 311 needed more of a deep clean due to food/drink related staining - it must have been very hard to keep carpets clean when functioning as a quarantine hotel with guests taking all meals in their rooms. Used the leisure club. Fab swimming pool. Just make sure and contact the club by phone or email to book your slot. At present swim sessions start at quarter to the hour. Can’t wait to stay here again.…

We had a very good stay at this hotel for one night. The room was large and had a good desk and chairs. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent -- many choices, good service. We were not charged for parking. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport, which is why we selected it. The room was very comfortable, as were the beds. We only needed to stay for one night, and it was fine. The shower had good water pressure, always a bonus. It was convenient to have the hotel restaurant, so we were able to get dinner without having to go very far.

Stayed here for the second time before traveling overseas with our dog. Warm welcome at reception (including our dog!). A super stay in a clean, spacious and modern room. So convenient having the airport shuttle bus directly outside the hotel entrance from 3am - we had the dog crate and a few cases with us so saved us getting a taxi. Also good to have plenty of space to walk the dog around and take him for a run in the field across the main road. Definitely will stay again. Situated close to Edinburgh airport with a shuttle bus to departures every 15 minutes. Used to fly early to Heathrow. Only fault was lack of concierge service on arrival. Room was small but adequate, bed very comfortable and restaurant excellent

We again stayed at the Doubletree Airport for it's awesome access to the Airport. Needing to arrive at the airport around 5am we chose the Doubletree because you can literally walk to the terminal. Having done so to catch a bus to the city for a late add golf round in Crammond I can say that it's actually easier to walk than take the short free shuttle to the airport. First where the shuttle has to leave you now is halfway to the airport and at 4:30am it was extremely crowded. When we arrived we were hungry from our trip from Glasgos and decided to have a late lunch at the hotel. The food was very good, Service was good until it came time to settle our bill when we literally couldn't find anyone to close us out. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Definately reccomend for access to airport!…

Nice hotel and reasonable breakfast, with efficient and friendly service. Walk to Park and Ride for the tram twice the time than the airport but significantly cheaper. WiFi was good and car parking (extra) a good size

Perfect location for an overnight stop before catching a flight the next morning. We were a family of 4 the room had all we needed and was clean and comfortable. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We ate I the restaurant in the evening and the food and service were great. Breakfast was also good. I heard one person ask the chef if there was no porridge... there wasn't but he offered to cook some up for her (which I believe he did). Difficult to see from the Web site but the hotel does have parking available. There is a shuttle bus to the airport but you can also walk there in less than 10 min. Would definitely use this hotel again.

So far. Beer selection in the bar is poor and nothing Scottish. Didn’t even have a lime for the best beer - sadly a Corona. Can’t wait to see the dinner menu. Might be better off getting an Uber to an actual pub/restaurant. Fingers crossed dinner will be better.
