Stayed at the hotel before but our friends first time. Had a great break and so handy for the No11 bus into the city centre. Food (breakfast) was good but all the staff are fantastic. Will be back soon.

A one night stay on business. On arrival you start to wonder where you are going. entry into the car park is tight so be careful. Receptionist was friendly and courteous. Wifi worked well, cant say the same for the TV. kept dipping in and out of signal, which was annoying as I was watching one my favoutite movies. The...

We attended the wedding of some friends at the venue and chose to stay here too. It was a very nice choice and we enjoyed the hotel, it's location, the food and the staff. You can walk from the hotel to enjoy short walks in the hills nearby

An older building in excellent shape. Very nice hotel. The staff were helpful in every way. Our room was charming and spacious; the beds were comfortable -- neither too soft nor too hard. We had a scrumptious cream tea -- the "Jean Brodie tea" -- by the fireplace in the bar, and a delicious dinner in the on-site restaurant.

Very helpful and friendly reception. room was an upgrade and expected a well kept room but we found a problem with wardrobe door sliding and also what was rather odd was the TV on the ceiling, the bed was comfortable enough. We found a problem with the breakfast, the chef seemed to not understand a fried egg, which were either...

Stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend early Dec. Would highly recommend - not just because the hotel is cosy, well appointed and staff very good, but the neighbourhood between the hotel and the city centre is something worth exploring. So glad we decided to spend less by picking a reasonably priced hotel further out of the city! The...

We were here for an overnight with breakfast. The hotel was clean and well run although reception seem to be a little understaffed. The bus stop which takes you right to the city centre is next to the hotel and costs £1.60. Breakfast had mostly everything you would want although had one of my pet hates, a self toaster which...

we are a Spanish couple we stayed here for a few days we recommend the hotel lovely staff apart from the unpleasant breakfast chef who with a ginger head was, last Tuesday, shouting and verbally abusing the waiters and the customers for the simple reasons that we started taking food a few minutes before 7am. He was totally disrespectful to...

Nice hotel lovely room all very friendly except the restaurant had to ask many times for a drink and would not recommend the food very small and cold. Staff only interested in the American family staying at the hotel. Apart from that was nice warm and very clean
