We have stayed at this Travelodge before and again enjoyed it. The staff were very welcoming and again the hotel and room were very clean. We will be staying in this Travelodge again when we return to Edinburgh.

We got exactly what we paid for. Generally clean, generally comfortable, generally quiet. Breakfasts were good value and set us up for the day (£15 for a family of 7 isn't at all bad!). Evening meals were nothing to write home about but OK when you first arrive. We were able to open the window (child lock on it) which...

Great service, really friendly staff. Very clean rooms and the best location. It is only 10-15 minute walk to bars and restaurants. You can get a bus to city center just outside the hotel. (bus Nr 37). If you want to get to Prince street shopping area- it takes only 3 or 4 bus stops. Cost 1.50 pounds. I would...

Stayed here before, but it's a little out of the way for the centre, so normally stay closer to the centre for work. However this time most places were booked so came back. Lovely location and building, rooms clean and handy to have a bar too. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. As travel lodges go, it does what it says...

Everything was great the room was huge which was great having 2 children with us. Room 2 was a little too warm unable to open any windows and there was a huge fan in the bathroom which was a little noisy at night. The lift was next to our room and little noisy at nighttime people using it. But overall...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy. Not too far from the City Centre for a keen walker. The hotel also has really good bus links into the Centre that usually run on time.

I booked this travelodge for my sons 18th birthday. 3 freinds and himself for three nights in the family room. They had a fantastic time and loved their accommodation all being able to stay in the same room. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and they were well looked after. The booking office staff were extremely helpful in answering...

Travelling alone with my two daughters I was a little worried about staying just outside the city centre but we couldn't have been happier. There is a bus stop right outside and buses run constantly to the city centre which is only a 20 minute walk away anyway. The hotel itself is great. A lovely old property with a great...

Stayed overnight here on the way home from the North of Scotland. Surprised and intrigued by the creation of modern Travel Lodge rooms within (and behind) Georgian property. Very comfortable bed. Room could have better lighting, and the tiling in the bathroom (bright red) was a little overwhelming.

Very nice clean hotel, located close enough to Edinburgh centre but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The hotel itself was very clean and the room seemed very newly fitted and decorated which was good.
