So much has already been written about the Clarendon apartments, and I can personally confirm the accuracy of the positive reviews. After spending an entire week, between Christmas and New Years, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when I visit Edinburgh. Upon arrival by

We have stayed 3 or 4 times at 10 Clarendon Crescent. Each time we have enjoyed the live-in owners' gracious hospitality; our spacious, clean, quiet, well-furnished and stocked flat; and accessibility to the New Town and Old Town by foot or nearby bus lines. If I had 100 stars

What a cracking find. Spent two nights here last week. I was in the Oxford suite which was lovely. Really modern, all mod cons and a seriously comfortable bed. It was such a refreshing change from a boring hotel. Great little kitchen, and a dishwasher so no washing up either!!

From Edinburgh Airport it is roughly 20 mins by bus (depending on time of arrival/traffic) to the West End of Princes Street. Once you exit the Bus on Shandwick Place it is a 5 or 6 minute walk directly north and over the Dean Bridge with the property into right directly after the bridge. There is also a Tram service which runs from the airport and will take you to Shandwick Place. Alternatively a Cab will cost you around £15.
