I stayed in room 108 on the 29 November, the room was so noisy, I heard the outside door swing open and shut all the time when folks were having a cigarette as well as when they were leaving the hotel very early in the morning. I did not feel safe returning to the hotel at 10pm as there are...

Out side of the travel lodge run down derelict looking. Inside run down smelly carpets stained. General smelly Stay away Hotel also charges for wifi which isn't brilliant . Staff warm and welcoming. Car park slippy not gritted during ice.

Room was fine. Nice and clean and easy to get to various places close by. Do a good Base. My room was on the ground level next to the service road. So people leaving the hotel and people going to the petrol station had to pass my room. I could here vehicle all times of the night which was annoying....

great staff and great location for us to visit my son who is working in Edinburgh, also an easier was to get to the City centre via the back door so to speak. We have stayed here before so it was a no brainer this time as well

On arrival the car park was littered with rubbish blowing around in the wind. A number of 'huddies' were milling around with not much to do but stare at us as if we were their next meal. One half of the 'hotel' was boarded up and looking as if it was ready for demolition. Inside the lady receptionist was pleasant...

We arrived at the hotel fairly late (11.30ish) and were greeted on arrival and checked in quickly. The hotel had a bar and served breakfast but we used neither service so can not comment. The room was plain but very clean and we had a brilliant nights sleep. The bathroom was also clean and there were sufficient towels and tea...

The exterior gave such a poor impression, drab and run down with a closed and boarded up premise attached. Our reception was at best moderate. Worse than that, the condition of the corridor carpet was disgusting with many stains to which little attempt had been made to remove them, one of which left little to the imagination. The bedroom was...

Travelodge Musselburgh was acceptable before when we brought teams of gymnasts to compete in Edinburgh, but the refurbishment is very good. 9 inch thick mattresses ensure a great nights sleep. The only drawback is the lack of onsite food, but we take something with us.
