Great hotel for a short stay. Only gave 4 stars due to bathroom needing upgraded. Perfect location for the Waverley train station and Princess Street shops. The Dungeons, Camera Obscura and Edinburgh Castle are just a 10-20 minute walk

Everything was excellent from the beginning. The person in charge was friendly, willing to help you. He answered all our questions, made suggestions on places to visit, gave us directions. Absolutely helpful!

Lovely clean room, clean hotel, quiet room, only the miserable welcome at the front desk which let it down. But we all have our off days I guess!! My daughter and I stayed here while in Edinburgh for the Harry Styles tour and had a great time.

Central, clean and fairly quiet, tho’ our room faced out the back. Beware their dynamic pricing algorithm if you are booking a stay for a large event likely to attract visitors - get in early. Also, don’t rely on dropping a bag off before check-in.

Hotel location was ideal for our purpose however the external noise was far from ideal. Bottles being emptied into bottle bank during the night. Windows did not stop the noise despite being closed on a very warm night and no aircon. Shower curtain too small for shower flooding bathroom

Great for a short stay in Edinburgh. We stayed one night and it fit the bill for location and value. Room was small and basic but nicer than many Travelodges! Great location and very nice staff. Able to store luggage after check out which was great!

Very handy location in Queen Street and so we were able to walk to everything, there are taxi's nearby if required. Comfy refurbished rooms and very friendly and helpful staff, will definitely stay there again

Great location close to Waverly Station and the Royal Mile. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. The room and common areas are clean, well maintained, and freshly renovated. Quiet inside with only some early morning delivery sounds from the lane.

Stayed here for a concert/weekend break. We had a “Small Family Room”…and it is definitely small. Luckily there was only 2 of us but you would struggle to have 3 or more staying in the room because there simply isn’t the space. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and the shower pressure/temperature is great. Some large stains in the carpet and the room generally looked a little tired. It was generally clean and it’s fine if you aren’t going to be spending a lot of time in the room. Friendly staff on arrival which is always nice. The location is fantastic, everything is pretty much less than a 15min walk away. It was OK at best.
