It appears that without any notice this b&b has closed for business. We had booked a couple of rooms in March and had been looking forward to our stay but by chance have discovered that they have closed without even a quick call or email to let us know. Just a quick note therefore to let anyone with reservations know...

9b is a lovely B & B situated in a Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh's New Town. The rooms are clean and charmingly decorated, and the location is fairly close to Princes Street and the town center. There's also a nice garden on the property. Rates are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Excellent and quiet location that is very convenient for Princes Street and all the main sites of interest, though you do need to walk up hill, but not far. We stayed 3 nights as a family in 2 rooms. Both rooms were comfy and decorated in good taste and with an antique charm. The bathrooms were clean and up-to-date, the...

I stayed here for two nights with my daughter who had been studying in the UK. Phillip the host on site was VERY attentive to all our needs including ordering up taxi's, which by the way Always arrived on time. The food was lovingly prepared, and our room, the Garden Room was lovely and quiet. The hot water for baths...

We stayed at this B&B with our one-year old daughter. They provided the travel cot, and had it set up when we arrived. It was a little difficult navigating the stairs down to the front door with a stroller, but the location, warm and friendly welcome by Philip, and charming rooms made it worth it. The room was clean and...

I stayed at this unique B&B for 2 nights. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a pleasure to watch breakfast being prepared on the Aga and to eat it sitting at the farmhouse table. I have yet to read the A McCall Smith novels but I shall certainly seek them out...

We looked forward to getting back to this warm and comfortable B and B away from cold wet Edinburgh in December. We were greeted by cups of tea and delicious homemade baking, the rooms were peaceful and comfy and the breakfast plentiful and appetising. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us helpful advice as to how to get about the...

We had a wonderful time at the Bouverie B&B. Even though the weather was difficult from time to time, we always looked forward to returning to our wonderful B&B. Lovely and always friendly and helpful housekeeper Sasha added to the old house's charme. We enjoyed great breakfasts in the cosy kitchen and were amazed to read the bad reviews. We...

I stayed at this B@B for two nights during the festival. I went there to be a street entertainer which was an exciting experience. I was made very welcome by Cassie, Archie and Sacha and felt at home there. The house is charming in the heart of the New Town and I felt like I was living in an Alexander...

We arrived late but were greeted with a warm welcome. Immediately offered a cup of tea and shown our pretty, quiet, clean bedroom. Lovely huge cooked breakfast with homemade jams in a gorgeous kitchen with cosy aga. My wife loved the scottish hand painted table mats from the Orkney islands. I loved the georgian flagstone staircase with inset lighting which...
