Our first time in Edinburgh, really we couldn't fault the Murrayfield. The accommodation was clean, super comfortable and all everything we needed to hand. They are reasonably priced and the food in the Bothy restaurant was delicious. The staff at the Murrayfield are amazing, so helpfull and full of smiles. The reception staff in particular Bob and Rita were lovely...

This is our last night in Scotland and we've had a great time here at the Murrayfield! The rooms seem as though they are newly renovated and somehow the decor is both very modern and very quaint at the same time ! Our room was well stocked with all the necessities: Coffee/teapot with ample amounts of both as well as...

This hotel was selected for me through a travel package I purchased from London to Edinburgh and I couldn't have been more pleased. Although it's about a 5 to 8 minute drive to Princes Street, the old town and Edinburgh Castle, it's very convenient as there's a bus stop on the corner across the street from the hotel. The bus...

Prettily furnished room with everything you will need and more. Particularly love their big windows and super comfortable bed. Service was great too, especially at breakfast where the staff was particularly helpful. Location could be a problem for those who wish to be within walking distance to city center. However, there are buses you can take. Or, like me, you...

Stayed here only one night before we left Edinburgh and wish we had stayed longer. We had 2 beautiful rooms in the house 2 doors down and they were fabulous. After walking into our room we noticed a really bad smell and I asked for some candles to burn in the room. After the nice woman from reception came to...

Stayed for a second time but this time for our anniversary. We emailed to book the same room as we had last time but it was already taken but they offered us a different room. This one was much bigger with a 4 poster bed. We were greeted with rose petals on the bed, a card and some chocolates and...

Room was ok in size, Clean, which is a big thing for me. The ensuite was good size. Boiling hot powerful shower. Smart TV, which was great to watch a film one evening. The...

We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Murrayfield Hotel. We visited Edinburgh for a friends wedding. Perfect location, just far enough out of the city centre and good parking facilities. Easy enough to jump on public transport or walk into town. Thank you for our free upgrade too! :). Rooms quirky and spacious. Staff friendly. We will be...

Hotel was very nice, room was a bit small but cozy. Staff was very friendly and Andy in particular was excellent. Location was not ideal, about a 30-45 minute walk to city center but bus stop right out front if you want to take bus. Depends on how you prefer to travel

Good afternoon, I am delighted to read that you chose to spend some of such a special occasion with us and I know Andy will be pleased to know his service was appreciated. It is indeed about a 30 minute leisurely stroll into the West End of the City Centre but for Edinburgh it is unusually flat which makes the...
