If you are looking for a 5 star B&B in Edinburgh this is it. Beautiful clean comfortable rooms en suite. Breakfast is lovely, with a very personal touch. Just outside of the city center but within walking distance of numerous fine eating places.

Good location just outside city centre, roughly 10 mins in the car, easy to find your way about. Guest House was suited to our needs, we were on the upper floor and our 14 yr old daughter had a single room to herself which was ideal. Very welcoming hosts and the breakfast was well presented, fresh and great value for...

My husband and I recently spent five nights at the AmarAgua Guest House on our honeymoon. We could not have asked for better accommodations. We stayed in Room #1, which was quite spacious by European standards, had a very comfortable bed and lovely en-suite bathroom. Each night, you submit a form for your requested breakfast the next morning, and it's...

We enjoyed our stay at the Amar Agua. Our hosts were delightful and our room was very nice. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. The B&B was a very short walk to the bus stop. The bus ride was only 15-20 minutes to the Royal Mile. We would definitely stay again.

It has been our third stay at the AmarAgua Guest House and it won't be our last. As always our room (No 3) was very clean, large and nicely appointed. Tony and Dawn-Ann are gracious and attentive hosts who make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Great and plenty of choices for breakfast and we...

Lovely B&B in an upscale area of Edinburgh. We walked everywhere from this location. Stayed two nights. Rooms were immaculate, food was well-prepared, and hosts were clearly focused on providing caring service.

2 night stay, arrived early, shown straight to room. Given leaflets and advice on buses, taxis, pubs, restaurants. We walked sometimes, taxied others (not expensive) Our room was absolutely beautiful and spacious, breakfast was good, choices were plentiful. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful guest house, near enough to the city centre but far enough away to enjoy a...

Tony and Dawn-Ann thought of everything! We stayed at AmarAgua Guest House for 3 nights with another couple. The property is meticulously maintained with comfortable beds, large fluffy towels and warm showers. We absolutely love the breakfasts! We tried a number of different dishes, but my favorite was the baked Greek omelette with tomatoes and feta cheese; delicious. The location...

We stayed Friday and Saturday night for a wedding in May 2016. Cost £220 for 2 nights for 2 people, which was not the cheapest we could find before booking, but it looked very nice and it was very handy for Prestonfield House (where the wedding was) which was a 5 minute walk away. Very close to Dalkeith Road with...

AmarAqua is a beautiful house and the room we were in was really spacious, quite surprising for an urban setting. The service, the room, the breakfast were all totally tops. Thank you Tony ans Dawn-Ann for sharing your home with us! If we return to Edinburgh we will not even consider looking for any other place to stay.
