We were in room number 4 situated at the front of the guest house. Although compact with a very small bathroom it was adequate for what we wanted and although the guest house was situated on a very busy road, there was no noise late...More

I'm not certain, but I'm sure the management would work with you, especially if you paid in advance. Just make arrangements on where to leave the key. He was very accommodating in letting me leave my luggage early in the morning before my room was ready, so one would hope he would be as accommodating on a very early departure.

It takes about 30 minutes on the Airport Bus or the Tram from Edinburgh Airport to Princes Street in City Centre. Then a good 20 minute walk south of City Center or a 10-15 minute bus ride. Lothian Buses stop on the North Bridge (ask the driver if he stops on Minto Street). The bus stops very close to the Strathallan. The cross street just before the Strathallan is Salisbury Place. I have never driven from the airport and don't know how long it might take, but a possible route is the City of Edinburgh Bypass (A720) to Burdiehouse Road (A701). Exit and turn north. Or check GPS.
