We had a large room with a very large comfortable bed. The ensuite was also a good size. Everthing was imaculate and the decor was relaxing. The towels were changed every day and everything was provided that you might need ie iron, ironing board, hairdrier, shower gel, liquid soap, tea, coffee and biscuits. We were on a main road but... Great bed and breakfast. Very clean and welcoming. Large room at the front of the house that was comfortable and quiet. Stayed for just one night and travelled into Edinburgh on the bus. Stop is just outside and buses are frequent day and into the night. It does take 30 minutes on the bus. Breakfast was very good I would... More

Every time we are visiting out family in Balerno we stay with Jan in the Cherrytrees B&B. This was out fourth stay, and yet again a great experience. Beautiful, clean, tidy rooms and comfortable beds. Jan could not be more accommodating, always giving us a warm welcome. The breakfast, cooked by Jan herself, is delicious, and plenty of it. I... Clean throughout. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Only parking was on the street behind the building. Could use a sign out back to help identify and locate. Had to bring luggage through backyard and around to front entrance. Decent location - 15 minute drive to airport in the morning.

There were three generations of us (grandson, father and grandpa) visiting Edinburgh for 3 days of sightseeing and go-karting. We were made very welcome and comfortable by Jan who gave us directions and advice on our stay. I will definitely come back again with grandma!!

Upon entering Cherrytrees, you can see that Jan takes great care of the B and B. The rooms were the cleanest of any B and B we've ever been to. Jan was helpful and accommodating and made sure that we had a lovely time during our stay.

Don't be put off by the fairly drab grey suburban exterior. Inside this is beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and Jan made us very welcome. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and we slept so well. Parking was on-street, in the road behind - not ideal but access through the back garden gate worked nicely. Location is very handy... More

Was warmly welcomed by Jan into a comfortable and spacious room (the bed was huge!). The ensuite was equally big, very clean and well equipped. The dining room was very special and the breakfast was lovely... I felt spoiled!

The standard by which all small B&B's should be judged! The room was spot on, a real luxury feel, and we couldn't see how it could be improved. The breakfast was excellent too. well done Jan, for making Cherrytrees, warm, comfy, welcoming...we shall return soon.
