There seemed to be issues with the toilets/showers each day within our floor/apartment but it was different one each time and the others were fixed very quickly. Otherwise it was very comfortable, the area seemed a little bit dodgy (but only a little bit) so...More

Staff very friendly. Good price. You get what you pay for. Very Quick checking in. 6 rooms share 2 showers and 3 toilets. Kitchen available. Showers were dirty. Shower curtains mouldy. No bar/Lounge Room to meet up. Very basic. 3 Stars given as it is...More

Ideal for the festival. Basic but very clean. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend for couples and adults. Not ideal if you have kids as the bathrooms and toilets are separate from the rooms.

I booked a room in the halls for a gig we were attending nearby. As it was fringe week and places were booking fast, I took what I could. We found the reception that has been clearly signposted since there was some apparent confusion and...More

Ok it feels like popup for the fridge I'd pity any students living here. Location is great, close to cowgate and few mins to walk to the city. Beds, small terribly uncomfortable beds and pillows. Noise, the services riser was on the other side of...More

second-hand shops and eateries serving ethnic food for
just a few pounds. In August the student population is
replaced by vast numbers of boisterous visitors here
for the Fringe, Edinburgh’s world-class comedy and
arts festival which headquarters itself here. Flanking

The hostel is about 30 minutes away from the airport by bus. Take the Airlink100, it runs every 10 mins and is £7.50 for a return ticket. The bus drops off at Waverley Station which is a 5 minute walk from the hostel.
