At least five busses that go to City Centre are within steps of this hotel. Very convenient. Also, two express marts and ATMs are within steps and can make change for bus or provide cash. Very clean and secure. Staff extremely helpful. Have patience with free wifi. It kicks off every couple of minutes, and requires re-submitting. Very frustrating.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to see the sights of Edinburgh. Lovely restaurant next door and a short bus ride into the centre, we have stayed here often and it's a good base for getting into the city centre. Whether you want to go to a show at the theatre or to the Christmas market...

I was in Room 101, which was a bit odd to say the least. If you have mobility issues you would not want this room because to get into the room once you have got through the doors you have to descend several steps. Also, it was in a corner of the hotel that would be difficult to access. I...

Rib Eye steak was like shoe leather. Asked for chef/manager-no one attended. Ate the following night and part of the meal was missing. They didn't know how to fry an egg both at breakfast and as a topping on a gammon

I have now stayed at a number of this group of hotels, I found this one some distance from the centre, more of an issue because we were on public transport, it would of helped if there had been directions from Waverly station by bus. The layout of the hotel was ok but for the fact we were in a...

The usual comfort at a reasonable price. A really good restaurant attached , great food. The staff were very, very helpful. There is a bus stop right outside to get into Edinburgh. Although I got stuck in the lift the staff were brilliant and made sure I was alright all the time I was stuck and got me a coffee...

We have stayed at this lovely hotel many times when visiting family nearby. I can't praise the staff enough. The rooms are always, warm and lovely and clean. The buses into the city centre are frequent and bus stops conveniently located closeby. We have only once asked to move rooms so we could have a family room to allow our...
