Staying in the New Town of Edinburgh with English setting, room is comfortable and beautiful. We got a 4-bed room, very spacious Staff were very helpful, even willing to change a room for me from Upper floor to ground floor for my mum's convenience. And the plus point is English breakfast is included and it's excellent Location wise, 10 mins...

Quiet and clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable room. 15-minute walk to the main street (Princes). The guest house includes 2 properties. Wi-fi is available in only 1 of them (Arden Lee). The owner kindly provided a key to access the property that has wi-fi. There seems to be an issue with the front door of Arden Lee, that can...

This is a slightly tired guesthouse however I got a large room and a good breakfast for £100 for two nights. I was at the back of the property and it was extremely quiet. There was a large living room downstairs which I did not use but would be good if you were with a group of friends. This is...

I really enjoyed my staying (23rd-27th October 2013). The guest house is easy to find (just go straight for a mile from the old town, by foot or by bus) and is located in a central but quiet area. The room was clean and equipped with TV and hair-dryer. The owner was friendly. Definitely, I can seggest you this guest...

This hotel is great value for money, and in a great position for anyone who does not have a car. There are four restaurants within a stones throw. At least 5 buses are handy to take you into city centre or Leith. The owner Jenny could not do enough for us. I am disabled and she put me in a...

Kay, her husband and the other ladies that worked at the Eyre Guest house were always ready and willing to help in anyway that they could. Whether it was an early breakfast, an afternoon tea, or directions/suggestions to/for a place/destination they accommodated us. This guest house is within 5-10 minutes walking to city center. There is a bus station stop...

We stayed in a double room in the Eyre Guesthouse - the room was really spacious and we had a small ensuite bathroom. The bathroom was really small but fine for staying a couple of days. We had breakfast included that was served in the nearby Guesthouse and we got a full cooked breakfast so it was great before setting...
