Bobby basic small room. Shower is tiny with nowhere to dry or change, not ideal when sharing with someone. Would prefer a bathroom. The reception staff were nice and helpful. They directed us to the complimentary drinks, no clean cups, no juice in machines. Staff had no interest in correcting this. Upon arrival the bunk beds weren’t made, when the staff were approached to ask for it to be corrected, they were less than impressed and huffed at doing it but did eventually do it. We used it for somewhere to sleep which it allowed us to do, it’s not somewhere I’d choose for more than a night

I was amazed at the quality of the room very basic but very clean and has everything you need for a quick stay over .staff were so welcoming , Gave us tips on the best places to eat, trams time ect .a quick 5 minutes walk to the trams , so easy to use .

I fully appreciate this is a budget hotel but for the price we paid it was awful. The room was very tatty and in dire need of a freshen up. Our room was for 3 adults and was like a cupboard and extremely cramped. The room didn’t even have a hand towel. The bunk bed stairs were impossible to get up and down and were pretty dangerous, even for an adult. The toilet door doesn’t reach the ceiling. There is absolutely no privacy in these rooms if you are sharing with others. The hotel was busy but they were very understaffed. I asked for more glasses for juice at breakfast, the lady wasn’t very nice and infact a little rude. The public toilets near reception were disgusting. Breakfast was average. Very very basic. Again for the price I expected more. We paid £189 for one night i really feel like we were ripped off. I totally understand the price will be higher for the location being Edinburgh and close to the airport but I did expect more, the room was terrible even for a budget hotel. This was buget feel, but the £200 a night isnt cheap. All plastic and lino, beds were comfortable, and clean but that was where the good stuff stopped. This is student accommodation. I was shocked, rooms were tiny, no kettle in the room a total horror for me. 3 beds but the bunk hadnt made - been left for you to make it yourself.

Was very pleasantly surprised how great our stay was. We had a ground floor twin room. The beds were really comfy, lovely clean immaculate bedding. Room was clean and the air con good. We were expecting it to be noisy it wasn’t at all. Shower was a really good size and had lovely smelling shower gel. Toilet clean and plenty of toilet roll. The complementary tea and coffee and juice in the morning was fab! Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is a perfect location to be near the airport and the tram ( 5 minute walk) into the center of Edinburgh. The tram cost was only $2.00 and was about a 20 minute ride. The taxi to the airport cost us $17. The front desk personal were friendly and helpful. It is a budget hotel, but there is free coffee available in the lobby and a breakfast is available for $8.95 ( continental). It suited our needs for our short time in Edinburgh.

The place was absolutely filthy. Staff was friendly. There was a a four inch gap between the toilet door and the ceiling. Paper-thin walls. This is the second horrible stay we’ve had at an Ibis. I think I’m done with the brand.

Lovely Clean room. Double and single Up top. Wee TV. Tea and coffee making. Staff so friendly and knowledgeable. Good location for Tram Into Edinburgh and parking for Car. Isn’t far from airport. Isn’t noisy and felt safe here. Nice location.

Good clean hotel, right beside a tram stop and a large shopping centre. Takes about25 minutes for tram to travel to city centre. Trams every 7 minutes and tickets can be purchased at every tram stop. Hotel breakfast is basic continental, with free tea/coffee by reception at any time of day. ( no tea making facilities in rooms).

Pleasant clean and comfortable. We stay here when flying from Edinburgh airport which is only a few minutes drive away. Would definitely recommend for this purpose or a budget stay. Rooms quiet. Hair drier avail from reception. Breakfast and snacks are also an avail add on.
