I stayed at the same hotel previously for 1 night and everything was perfect, really nice clean room, lovely staff and was really excited to stay again. However this time I am here for a week, on arrival after a 5 hour journey and 4 hours in the office I had a less than helpful member of staff check me...

The hotel was the perfect location for us, close to the tram to get to the airport and also the city, the room was a good size, it seems like it may be time for some renovations the elevators clang about and small things seem to be starting to come loose. We had dinner at the restaurant here and it...

Good hotel this perfect for business and ideally situated, great train link Haymarket to Edinburgh park and a few minutes walk. Well situated for the city centre jump on a tram or train, trams every ten minutes few minutes straight into the city centre. Reasonably priced with a very nice buffet breakfast. No problem recommending this one. Didn't use the...

Very convenient hotel close to M8 and to the tram for access to airport and city centre. Online checkin but hotel holds 80 pounds per night on your credit card, this is not explained during the process you just get an email stating what they have held following the checkin process. The room is usual Novotel fare with a slightly...

The soundproofing on this hotel is incredible. It's quiet though close to the train. It's close to the airport, which is why we choose it - we flew in late the first evening and were going to spend the next several days driving around Scotland. We'd stay there again.

Great hotel with great staff. Breakfast delicious & plentiful. Hotel close to various roads, trains & trams to take you wherever you want. Gym, steam room & swimming pool were fabulous, but it would help if parents were present when their children are in the pool.

My family and I have stayed in this hotel for 7 consecutive years, booking 4 rooms this year. We were initially given a room that smelled of cigarette smoke and when we objected were allocated another room that we felt was shabby. We were also disgusted to discover you now have to pay to park your car in the hotel...

I checked in on line 2days before our arrival it was straight forward excellent. Location was perfect about 15 minutes on the tram from Princess Street which cost us £3-20p for a return ticket. On arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a very nice female with a very large smile. She was very very helpful to us. Explaining...

“Central heating was not working at all. This was reported to reception but nothing happened. This made the room very hot at night (2 night stay) and made sleep difficult. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have noticed a decline in standards of hygiene in rooms and bathrooms. Some need cleaned better, others need to be properly maintained.”

“We had an issue with the room temperature - which I fully accept may have down to "pilot error" on my part rather than faulty central heating control. We called reception and someone came and adjusted it bringing almost instant warmth to the room. ”
