We had booked three rooms here and arrived an hour before checkin. On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming, giving us one room early and then whilst we all put our suitcases in the room and got ready to explore the city, we received a knock on the door and the reception team had got our other rooms ready. Excellent service. The rooms were extremely clean and looked after. It had a more premium feel than other Premier Inn's. It was well located to get to places in the City right next to the shopping centre. I would visit again. Although parking was expensive, we found parking 5 minutes away (down the hill) Free from 5.30pm on Friday - 8.30 Monday. Great locationif you have a car

We stayed at this Premier Inn as we were staying in Edinburgh for one night, so wanted somewhere central as a base. Edinburgh Waverley station is a short 10 minute walk away and there are plenty of amenities nearby, including pubs and restaurants. We did opt for a Premier Plus room, which was on the 3rd floor and of high quality, with some nice additional touches. There’s a nice bar and we did stay for breakfast, which was hosted in the on-site restaurant. Overall an excellent stay and I’d recommend!

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff (Rita and Somar) arranged early check in for £10. Room was very clean but beginning to look tired (scuffed walls, torn lampshades, stained upholstery, slightly grubby grouting). Slept well - room was cool and quiet (air con). Not as good value for money as in the past.

No staff at reception on arrival. No bottle of champagne in room on arrival as requested, went to complain and they told me i would need to leave the hotel so they would organise this. We came back to prosecco, which neither me or my partner like. Bottle of water in fridge was already open. Wifi kept disconnecting. Bar staff took 3 attempts to pour a pint, didnt know how to make a cocktail and glass was overflowing with ice and a watery cocktail. No staff at morning breakfast available to assist. Parking rules changed since booking and no notification of this, so didnt get discount parking. Only good thing about this stay was the location. Would never return.

We were staying for 3 nights so had decided to upgrade to Premier Plus room as it seemed worth it for the extra facilities for a bit extra. The good: - room was clean and decent size - staff were friendly and (mostly) helpful - location is excellent & mainly quiet The not so good: - double bed (not the usual PremierInn King size) and not very comfortable - only 1 hand towel (had to ask the cleaner for another) - only 2 coffee pods for a 3 night stay (had to ask for more) - only 2 bottles of water for a 3 night stay - unable to open windows to 'freshen' the air; aircon too loud to keep on overnight - 'ultimate wifi' anything but (Wifi 15Mbps, 5G 45Mbps) - pre-book parking discount changed during our stay, so they wouldn't validate / discount our parking Not a great experience and whilst this review probably won't affect any bookings from others, it will definitely make me think twice about booking a PremierInn again. Would we go back - no Would we recommend - no

Good start being able to check in early - around 12.45. Was given a room in the basement but it was fine and had a large window allowing lots of light. Room was clean and had a new feel about it. Staff were great and was able to leave luggage in a secure room.after checking out. Location is great but the tram stop outside was closed due to some improvements being done, but St Andrew's Square tram stop is 10 mins walk away, Waverley station about 15 mins and Bus Station just across the road.

For the price it’s great, accessibility to the city is good but there’s restaurants all around so it’s never hard to get a bit of scran. Staff are understanding and nothing seems to big of a problem great people and great place.

This was an excellent home base for Edinburgh. The rooms are huge, with a decent tv size, good bathroom, and functional a/c. It feels a bit more residential, but still close to downtown. The staff is helpful, the hotel is clean, and the breakfast is reasonable. Make this your choice in Edinburgh.
