My partner and I had a one night stay and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

The room was very modern looking and had a stunning view of Falkland Hill.

We enjoyed a traditional Scottish breakfast, which was very nice.

The staff were also great and couldn't have been more helpful.

Will definitely be back. Thanks again Reagan and Agnes.

The Greenside Hotel is the perfect hotel for touring the middle of Fife, ideally situated for Falkland Palace & Hill of Tarvit Mansion etc. It is near Glenrothes but sufficiently away to be quiet ... with a vibrant bar at the weekend with live music on regularly.
Our room was ideal, with a huge bed & the most amazing view from the large window. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the sunsets over the Lomond Hills.
Breakfast was ideal, with a full Scottish breakfast on offer or various alternatives. Sadly, no full vegetarian breakfasts on offer but the poached eggs & fruit did more than suffice.
I would go back.

I've just stayed here ovwrnight with a friend as we came through to see The Polis and Catch 22 gig. The gig was brilliant and well worth the ticket cost. Great venue for a gig.

The hotel staff were lovely when we booked the room and during our stay too. Nothing was a problem. The bar staff were great and so friendly and helpful. They catered for my vegan diet without any issue. Agnes and the other staff there were lovely and chatty.

The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The view of the Lomond hills from the huge window was beautiful and peaceful.

I would recommned this to anyone and would happily go back again.

Thank you Greenside staff. We had a great and comfortable stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😊

Recently stayed at this hotel for the night and would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. On arrival we got told our room had been upgraded so that was a pleasant surprise.

The room was lovely, very clean and modern, massive king size bed very comfy got a great nights sleep in it. The bathroom was nice aswell.

No complaints with the room and for the price it exceeded our expectations, would recommend this hotel to anyone with the staff being friendly and helpful also making the stay a very pleasant visit.

This is now my second time staying for a week with work and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
The rooms are newly furnished and very comfortable with stunning views.
The food is probably the best I have eaten in any hotel with the full Scottish breakfast to die for!!
Agnes (the owner) is amazing, nothing is too much trouble for her and looks after you like your at home.
If your up this way don't even contemplate the Holiday Inn just come here.

If you need/want to stay in central Fife, this is a good choice. As others have said, the hotel doesn't 'wow' from the outside or in the ground-floor reception/bar area... but the accommodation is actually good quality, comfortable and clean, while the cooked-to-order breakfast is excellent. Nice, helpful staff too.

We have just come back from 5 nights here and Agnes the owner was very pleasant as were the rest of the staff. The room and the breakfast room were very nice but the bar area is in need of an upgrade IMHO.
Overall a very nice hotel well worth a visit and a stay as convenient For Edinburgh [catch train from Thornton] Stirling [park and ride at castleview] Cowdenbeath,Dundee and its only 1 1/2 hours to Aberdeen.

The hotel looks a bit dated but don't let that put you off. The rooms are lovely and the ones we booked had great views towards the lomond hills. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious.

Visiting friends in the area, we booked into the Greenside for a couple of nights. We were really pleased with the room that had been refurbished to a very high standard with lovely view of the rolling Scottish countryside.
Wifi, tea and coffee, iron/board all in the room!
Breakfast was first class and the staff were very friendly and efficient.
Very good value for money and we would stay again and recommend.
