Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights Friday to Tuesday. When we got into our room they were no towels or clothes hangers. We went to reception and towels and a few hangers were brought up to us. Our room was not serviced for our entire stay even though we asked at reception for it to be serviced as in hotel rules ( Sign on bathroom mirror). The first night the barman went to another part of the hotel to help out at another function leaving a 16 year old girl in charge of the bar. If you wanted a drink she had to run a get the barman. On the last night the barman said they he could only take cash payments. There was no facility to charge drinks to the room , He had no float so unless you had the right money you could not get a drink. The breakfast was pretty good the problem being there was never enough crockery put out and if was difficult to find a member to get some. Our room was OK the beds were clean and comfortable.

Just arrived happy talkative chappie on reception huge room and bathroom, just a few points that are not really ment as critical just helpful hints.
The socket for the kettle is not quite in the correct place and it doesn’t fit under the tap to fill, same for the hairdryer lots of sockets just not in convient places See photos.
Slightly haphazard placement of toiletries same for the ironing board iron and the plastic water container for the iron.
Only one pillow per person, which I know is normal but even in travelodge there’s a wrapped spare pillow if you required. Great view from our window ( room 3) you have got train and traffic noise but you are quite central for everything and it’s reasonably priced.Continental breakfast passable. Close to the beach

I stayed here for two nights and found everything to be great. The room was immaculately clean and had a lovely big window. Lovely and light and airy. It was next to a busy road but if I closed the window it cut out the noise as the double glazing was good. The bathroom was huge and the shower was amazingly powerful. There were massive soft towels and complementary shampoo etc. Hair dryer worked well as did kettle. There were tea bags and coffee sachets etc provided but no herb tea. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was basic but well presented. I didn't have the cooked breakfast but only because I prefer toast in a morning and what I saw other people having looked good. I would definitely stay again.

Friend travelled through from Glasgow, having already booking a room for the night and payment taken from his bank account..On arrival was greeted by a man in overalls, who had been joined by another man who took our details (for covid trace and traxh)confirmed payment ,wanted I'D. Which was given by both of us in forms of bank cards. When they said that they were taking photo copies ,said no chance. Finally the night staff emerged From a car parked in car park to go on computer then to ask again for photo I'D explaining did not have any toon was paid for but still got turned away, money still not refunded. Pending. This was not stated on website when booking room, the whole attitude of the 3 men at front desk was disgusting.. in these hard times you would think that any business cannot afford to be turning away business.. I would not recommended this establishment to anyone....Customer service - None..

The night staff (1 person) was very helpful and polite. The apartment was clean and well prepared. Very close to the main road made it noisy during the night. Breakfast was appalling, restaurant, appalling, staff very helpful and attentive by by Wednesday had both worked 75 hours, yes 75.
Although very good staff I would not recommend

Stayed here for a couple of days & the staff tried so hard not just for us but for everyone. Thank you Susan and Daniel especially, made us feel very welcome
You really have to appreciate what these guys are doing, hats off to you all. Room was spacious & housekeepers were on top of it even though they were under pressure. Seen a lot of people giving the staff grief, do think a no tolerance policy should be implemented. Maybe do need more housekeepers.
Played a game of pool and had a few drinks at the bar.
Is an old building & under reconstruction.
Breakfast was continental but heard the kitchen is under the works too currently.
Might not be the Hilton but that’s no fault of the staff’s, will be staying again!!

Great place to stay, Room was spacious and bright, great breakfast. The staff were absolutely fantastic, from arriving to our departure, nothing was too much trouble. When I visit again I will definitely stay here. Thanks to John, Liz, Susan and the other staff, Cheers.

Really surprised. The rooms are massive. Especially the bathroom.
5 mins walk from the train station. £7 taxi to Fife Ice Arena.
Breakfast was ace. Staff were really friendly. You can walk to the beech or the town centre. Free parking also. Not many places near by. Town centre is about a 15mins walk.
