Failed on all ends except location, price and ... front desk person was helpful...other than that ... St. Andrews is great...lovely town but people who said they stay here after golf are slightly delusional. No one would stay given an option. If you had $ to golf here, find a hotel. I am very very used to hostels...have been all...

Well St andrews aint that big, but still is hostel is located really really central and prices are affordable. Staff is friendly as well and for the size of St Andrews the hostel is quite fitting I'd say. We were located directly under the roof and the room was not clean at all and lots of mold everywhery, really really...

The manager turns out to be half Dutch-Indonesian and he can speak Indonesian with me and my friends. We had dinner together and he was very happy to meet us. He even allowed us to use kitchen a little bit longer after it supposed to be close. He and his staff helped us to repair our heater when it was...

Such a clean place with cosy atmosphere. This hostel is just opposite uni unuion, a short walk from bus station. Other attractions in this town are also in walking distance. Room rate per night is perfect :) Friendly staff too!

The location is very convenient and it truly is a budget hostel, however I stayed during the Autumn period and the hostel inside is very cold, also they failed to mention during my arrival that they turn the hot water off in the morning!!

I stayed here during the Summer for a couple of nights by myself and I had a good experience overall. This is a budget hostel, possibly the only one in St Andrews, which is quite expensive all year round but even more during the Summer months. A cheap bed can be found in a 6 or 8-people room, with clean...

I stayed here two nights and it was comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and living space is large and nice. My bed gave me some good sleep. If you're on a budget then this is great. You're very much on your own though. While people are friendly, it doesn't feel too warm. Just be aware that reception is closed during...

An absolute dump. As it was the Open the manager crammed nine of us in a room 10' x 10' at £70 pp and had the cheek to try to place another mattress down between the 4 bunk beds some of which had no rail guards on top. Bed linen smelled used and my mattress was badly stained. Room was...

This hostel is very basic. It is easy to miss it, up a close through a side door to what has been a fine house.Reception is closed between 14.00 and 17.00 so time your arrival accordingly. The bunk beds are reasonably comfortable, quite crowded and as noisy as you might expect in the centre of a university town at the...

This hostel advertises itself as the cheapest accomodation in St Andrews, and it is - everywhere else was v. expensive. The fabric of the building is rather old and dilapidated, but it is clean and presentable enough. Rooms are shared with male/female, so be prepared. It is a university town, so sometimes there are large parties of visiting students staying...
