There are so many good things to say about this hotel…that it’s difficult to know where to start! Ok – let’s start with location and presentation. I was in Glasgow recently for work over a period of three days and had spent almost an entire day travelling to the city. I caught the airport to city centre bus and got...

My friend and I stayed here last night 8th-9th November 2016. I booked it, because of the location and the great prices. We were not disappointed! We were greeted by the lovely Roz who went out of her way to make sure our check in was quick and to answer all of our queries. She arranged a beautiful room on...

Just returned from a great stay, Roz helped us with the booking originally and through out our stay. She is a great ambassador for this hotel nothing is too much trouble. Nice quiet room with a well stocked tea tray and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. Will book again and look forward to coming back.

Had to stay overnight in Glasgow for a concert and this was a good 15 minute walk from the venue so I chose it, not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The lovely young blonde receptionist (didn't catch her name, sadly) was extremely helpful, helping to calm my nerves about staying in Glasgow alone (first time staying by myself) and...

The Acorn has friendly, welcoming staff. It is in a great central location and close to some excellent restaurants. The pub next door was pretty good too. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. We didn't have breakfast but it smelled good. Will definitely go back.

Acorn hotel looks from the outside like others in the area.Inside it is finished to a high standard, rooms are clean and comfortable with great en suite. The only gripe is parking,it's on parking meters, and space is limited as most of the area is residential.Arrive if you can, after six at night as it's only £1.00 all night.

This was our first time staying here and in Glasgow. We arrived in the rain and although a little early for checking in were welcomed in and given the option of leaving our two bags. My daughter (14) and I returned later that evening and were given a twin room on the top floor. The room had two comfortable twin...

We arrived mid Friday afternoon to be greeted by a not-so-happy-to-be-here Marlene. It's the first time we've stayed at a hotel and not (at least) been offered help with baggage to the room! Room was clean, beds and pillows extremely comfy and a good nights sleep both nights was most welcome. Stayed on room only basis and regretted not having...

Travelling alone I needed to stay overnight in Glasgow and was attracted to the Acorn because I was visiting in the city centre and a couple of nearby suburbs. The Acorn was well located for me and provided comfortable, stylish and clean accommodation at a reasonable rate. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower bathroom was very good....
