Nice neighborhood, helpful and efficient staff. Really clean and comfortable bedroom. Value for money. Great location in Glasgow-near Buchanan St., George Sq. and the GoMA. Easy to move from and to the Glasgow airport -20 min by bus 500 (buy tickets at the airport). Decoration is old-fashioned.

Our office has moved to Glasgow as such I travel to Glasgow virtually every week. I have been staying at the airport hotels, however as we were having a Christmas meal in central Glasgow, I chose and booked four rooms for myself and my colleges. Great value, and right in the centre of Glasgow. The staff were brilliant and very...

Booked via deal and this was excellent value for city centre on a Saturday night in December. Warmly welcomed on arrival and asked what type of wine we would like, bottle of white wine then delivered to our room in ice bucket with glasses. Whilst room is small and needs updating it was clean with king size bed which gave...

Great location and great value for money, but rooms need updating. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Would stay there again as it is ideal for a city break close to both train stations. Great for shopping.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a shopping and concert trip. The location is great....but that's about it. The rooms are very cramped, hardly room to swing a cat let alone 2 people to get changed etc. There is no air conditioning or temperature control and the room was stiflingly hot. The best we could do was...

Hi redloobylou, Thanks for the review and sorry to hear you found us disappointing. I realise our rooms are compact and it is regularly reported on trip advisor so its certainly not hidden. My apologies for the mix up with the menu and for the slow service, we were busier than expected that night. Sunday mornings are always busier as...

I took a trip to Glasgow and stayed in the Mercure Glasgow City Hotel, Ingram Street. I arrived quite late in the evening and was greeted by the Receptionist ‘Magda’ She was very helpful with booking me in which took just a few minute, told me about the Hotel with breakfast times etc. Fortunately for me the Restaurant was still...

If you're wanting an outstanding location right in the middle of the city - Mercure Glasgow is the hotel for you. But if you're thinking of ordering room service I'd pick somewhere else. On arrival I was met by very friendly and helpful reception staff. The room and bathroom were both clean and to a good standard. It had been...

Hi stewcaat, Thanks for the review and my apologies for the issues you encountered with your room service. I have forwarded your comments to our kitchen and rooms service team to examine what the issues were. I know this is not common as we serve many people on a weekly basis so it will be interesting to see where we...

Just back from another lunch in this city centre hotel. Surprised how quiet it was. I don't think people realise they do lunches. Really good value for soup and sandwich and the fact they do gluten free bread makes it ideal for anyone with celiac disease. The restaurant is lovely and if you're looking for somewhere relaxing to catch up...

First time staying in the Mercure and chose this hotel based on location. Not a great start to be put in room 101. The room was tiny and in need of a update. Won't be staying here again and won't be recommending to anyone.

I was not expecting anything fantastic as I already knew it was a three star hotel with small rooms and noisy environment. I stayed here for two weeks as my company had already paid. Hi Aisha A, Thanks for your review and sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. Having checked our reservations I couldn't find anyone who had stayed for 2 weeks on the first floor, I think you may have stayed for 2 days. Also I am not sure why your room would fill with cigarette smoke as this is a...
