My husband and I stayed for 2 nights to explore Glasgow and see a shoe at the hydro. The hotel is ideally located for anyone going to the hydro or other nearby convention centres. Our room was a good size and it was nice to see some walkers shortbread. My husband is really tall so doesn't often find a bed...

Just back from a fabulous stay over in the Crown Plaza. Attending Cirque du Soleil atvthe Hydro....wow was that a show.....thats a story for another post. This hotel is the most perfect place to stay whether going to a show at one of the near venues or simply as a treat visiting the city. Staff are all exceptional, friendly courteous...

Currently sat in the so called executive lounge and I've got to take issue with a number of parts of it..... Firstly the service, one blonde lady in particular.... Last time here I assumed she was so miserable as we had our kids with us, but this time we do not and she's much the same. Not quite the executive...

Love this hotel, ideal when going to a venue at the Hydro, rooms comfortable and clean and food is amazing! Staff are friendly and very helpful. I don't think I had anything that I wasn't happy with. I also think its value for money.

Great location, great food, helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. What more do you need from a city centre hotel? Windows that open! The solution that the hotel offers is air conditioning that doesn't mind making a big noise. Catch 22 leads to a pretty poor sleep, I'll request a different hotel next time.

I stayed here with friends when attending a charity fundraiser. The rooms on 15th floor were lovely and had access to the lounge. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner was very good for a big event. Next day the help yourself breakfast was perfect and again the staff were good.

A perfect venue if you're going to an event at the Hydro - it's just a few steps away. We had a room on the 14th floor with a great view over the river. The room was a good size, clean and modern with a big comfy bed. My only bug-bear is that the rooms were incredibly hot and with...

Love the location of this hotel, on the riverside and opp the science museum. Nice walk to city centre or short taxi ride. Another plus is the parking which is discounted for residents. There is plenty of space and connected by cover walk way to reception. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2 pm which was disappointing and...

Stayed overnight whilst at a concert recently at The Hydro. Location couldn't have been anymore convenient. Parking on site cost £6. Hotel was understandably busy but managed to get a seat in bar after concert. Queue for bar was long but staff were doing what they could to move it along quickly. Didn't have time to eat before concert and...

Booked the hotel for spring break. Although not in the City Centre it is only a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride. Hotel is excellent, helped by being upgraded to a suite, with friendly hepful staff. Location on the river is very good with great views along the Clyde. One let down is the lack of Bars/Restaurants in the...
