As several tripadvisors have mentioned the entrance is very small on the backside of Glasgow Central train station. Though you can see a sign with the hotel logo on top the entrance didn't look right or trustworthy. (At least in the evening when the place is locked. During the day it's more a typical office entrance.) Was welcomed by a...

This is described as a luxury hotel on the hotel website and the glowing reviews on tripadvisor seemed to back this claim up. Therefore, I was happy to pay good money to stay here. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met and I now feel that I paid far too much for the room and the rather mediocre hotel experience. The...

I recently stayed at this hotel. The location was fantastic, literally yards from Glasgow Central Station. Very quirky but also very clean and airy. The bedrooms weren't huge but were certainly big enough for a couple. Bottled water was left in the room daily and if you are a coffee drinker there is a little cafetiere with ground coffee or...

We stayed for 2 nights to attend our daughter's graduation. We booked the hotel after a recommendation from a friend. It is a very clever concept. The hotel is just 30 rooms on the top floor of an old office building located at the side of Central Station. The ground floor entrance is a bit grim with grotty looking floor...

Small single room, but very well appointed and cozy. Fabulous shower. Grasshoppers truly is an oasis of quiet, style and comfort in central Glasgow, right over the Central Train Station and just a couple minutes walk from an Airport Shuttle drop-off. The place seems to be entirely run by a gang of cheerful, helpful and efficient young women. Breakfast was...

I have to stay at this hotel whenever I go to Glasgow. Don't be put off by the outside - it's on the sixth floor of a building used by railway companies. The sixth floor is an oasis of peace and style. On one side it overlooks the magnificent expansive glass roof of Central station. So much to like -...

An oasis in the middle of chaos. Quiet, clean, welcoming and comfortable. Very convenient right next to the central station for rail travellers. The Glasgow city centre road one way systems are daunting for new comers, and it would have helped if the parking and unloading options had been spelled out on the website so we knew the challenges prior...

Have to agree with everything (positive) written about this hotel. From start to finish it was just excellent. Convenient location (45 secs walk from Central station), friendly welcome (once we realised the reception is on the 6th floor, not the dingy ground floor desk), nice extras (Smarties, fairy cakes, real coffee), comfy bed, excellent shower, quiet room (double glazed, we...

easy to find lovely little hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Staff were very helpful. Food was very good but would have liked a little more choice for hot breakfast. Ceiling fan was a life saver given the muggy weather and shower had good pressure

Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Close to shopping and right in the centre. All the staff were friendly and chatty. The breakfast and cakes were lovely. Loved all the extra touches. I would definitely stay here again!
