Rooms were very basic but clean and comfortable. Hotel lodgings are secondary to the downstairs restaurant, but well cared for. Due to construction, we were told shortly after we arrived that there would be no hot water. We were offered 1/2 off our stay or staff would find us another place to stay. We opted to stay and were not...

Dear Ksg91, Thank you for the kind words about your stay at The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, found your bedroom comfortable and relaxed with a wee welcome dram of Glenfiddich 12yr malt whisky. In our eyes nothing says “make yourself at home” quite like being offered a dram and a shortbread biscuit on arrival....

The Tryst is in a great location just up from Sauchiehall street and near the subway station for access to all of Glasgow. The room very comfortable and well presented. The staff in the restaurant very friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

I stayed at the Hotel during a very busy Friday night, during the Christmas party season. The staff were very welcoming and the service excellent. I was taken to my room (helped with my bags) and shown where everything was in the room. The room itself was modern, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast (included) in the morning was excellent....

The food well received, except some did not enjoy a heavy pudding, but otherwise fantastic night. The Ceilidh band made it extra special. The room itself was very clean and cosy. Home from home. The staff is super friendly, the room small but comfortable, and the location fantastic! We walked everywhere we wanted to go in Glasgow from the hotel. They welcome you with a dram on check in. The breakfast is hearty and tasty. Whisky at the hotel is cheap (3-4 pounds, common but good selection). My wife enjoyed the deep bathtub. We...

I highly recommend The Pipers' Tryst Hotel. The room was tastefully furnished; the bathroom contained a bath and a shower; the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the delicious Scottish breakfast. Staff were attentive yet not fussy. The location makes it ideal for theatre trips. Glasgow City centre is accessible on foot.
