Stayed at this place for a night. First, it shouldn't qualify for a hotel tag, I would say pretty poor even by standards of a hostel. Our double en-suite room was smaller than a single room (so small that our bag had to be in front of the room door. It is located above a bar so there is plenty...

I purchased a 5pm deal for my mum and I. I have spent quality time at Brunswick before but never stayed in hotel. It is a quirky kind of place so the paintwork fits in with that. The rooms are small but not any smaller than other budget hotels in the city centre. The Brunswick has the benefit of having...

I had a brief business stay at the Brunswick. As ever, the best thing is the staff in the hotel. They are so friendly and made me feel at home. But, the room and corridor areas are in real need of an overhaul and pretty scruffy in places.

This is a great wee hotel if you are looking for a central cheap bed for the night. We arrived in Glasgow at 10am and went to drop our bag off to be told we could check in and had been given an upgrade. Ok the place could do with a lick of paint but it was clean and bed...

Absolute shambles of a hotel. To be based in merchant city, you wouldn't expect such a dump! Could seriously do with a pick of paint. On arrival 5pm 18/04/17 the lady at the desk was nice enough but failed to mention out free drinks until I had mentioned. Gentleman at the bar was also nice enough and polite. As well...

This review relates to the bar/diner aspect of the Brunswick. I can't comment on its merits as a hotel as I've never stayed. The bar/diner is usually pretty busy. It has a good atmosphere and does good, reasonably priced food with a varied menu. Definitely worth stopping by.

The hotel is in a very good location near Merchant Square but it is very dingy and definitely would need an upgrade. My room overlooked a wall - while i understand sometimes rooms face the back, this was really unpleasant. The receptionist on duty on my arrival didn't seem very experienced and asked for payment straight away (unusual). On my...

Stayed here on 7 April for a Concert. Yes there are much finer and comfortable hotels in the City centre but the bonus for this hotel is location, location, location. Rooms could do with a revamp but they are clean and comfortable, the staff from Reception to the bar are most pleasant. For a short stay this hotel is recommended it's functional and...

The Hotel was fine! If your looking for a no nonsense type hotel then you cant do much wrong. Perhaps the decor of the room could be updated and the water pressure in the bath could be improved as it took its time in filling up. The staff were very helpful and friendly and allowed us to check in early...

I stayed here in the penthouse with other friends throughout the hotel and it was an excellent stay. The location is fantastic with lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The penthouse was amazing and perfect for all our friends to gather in to catch up and enjoy some tapas! The staff were extremely accommodating both before, during and...
