Plastic bin bags where our welcome in the reception. Given the key to the room walked through the musk aroma of damp filtering everywhere. Pulled the bedding back to find hairs in bed. Obviously not changed the sheets. £78 down the drain as I booked online last minute. Walked straight out with out even considering an argument as the wife...

A very run down establishment mostly runby foriegners and overrun with migrants who are either homless or sent here by UK IMMIGRATION AWAITING DEPORTATION OR ASYLUM IN ALL rooms AND on interior stairs AND outside on steps AND in common room, hoards of people in poor clothing with no real possessions (EXCEPT THEIR TOP OF RANGE SMART PHONES) just staring...

This was our fourth visit to this hotel over the past few years. When we arrived we tried to make a booking for next year only to be told that they were not taking bookings for two years as they had a block booking. On reading some of the current reviews we are glad we were unable to make the...

The staff were very unfriendly and made us feel like an inconvenience. With no elevator we were forced to carry our large luggage up several flights of stairs. Found ourselves in a disgusting room. It was dirty, smelly, and the sheets had a stain. This was worst then a hostel and for the price not worth it at all! BEWARE!

My experience in this place was similar to a one episode in Hell's Hotel, only without Gordon... The entrance is dark and creepy, and the reception is everything but welcoming. I was assigned room 1 on the basement (the keychain was bigger than my purse..). When I entered the room I think my soul left my body trying to run...

What an awful place! Both myself and a buissness partner picked the Victorian house which is described as a hotel. Firstly I would like to say it is is not a hotel! It is in fact a hostel !! And posted all over hostel world ... Where I do not have a problem with hostels I do find it rather...

Good location but place overall looked run down and no working coffee machine for breakfast.staff at reception were friendly and staff at breakfast in the morning were less friendly. Given the choice I would not stay at this place again.

The room is simple yet completely met my needs, with tea service in the room. The wifi worked well in the room and there is a nice sitting area outside in front. The full Scottish breakfast had many many options, all well prepared. Very good value and just a 5 minute walk to the city center.

When I arrived I had dead bugs on my bathroom floor, I left them there for the maid to clean and she didn't until three days later. My sheets were not once cleaned and the place was crawling with refugees. Will never go back.
