Although there is no long stay parking at the hotel. They do have excellent rates with a local car park just round the corner and you can however use the 2 hour on street parking to drop off your bags. The hotel is on a quiet side street so there is no much noise. The staff were very pleasant and...

Friendly welcome and allocated a room on the top floor. The room was at the back of the hotel and was reasonably quiet. The only problem was some machinery that kept on switching on and off through there night. Not sure if it was an air conditioning system or something similar but it was very annoying. The a/c system in...

Dear Provan4, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel. I am glad you enjoyed the new decoration of our refurnished Poppy Blue rooms. However I do apologies for the inconvenient machinery noise. It was the air conditioning from an other building near the hotel. I do understand, yet don't hesitate to call our reception...

There is no tv in the rooms if you like that when you sleep. Also the bathroom felt like your in a space ship if that's the best way to explain. It's like a mobile home bathroom in the room. There was a good amount of plugs around for getting ready and charging phones

Rooms very dated, artex walls as well as ceilings. Very patchy too. No soundproofing internally or in external walls. "Boy racers" use the surrounding streets so almost impossible to get to sleep for e noise. Shower room in my room was a "pod" type and the toilet was a wall fixed one and was loose. I will not be returning.

Only paid an average of £30 a night, very reasonable. Close to Charing Cross station, lots of bars and restaurants close to the hotel. Fairly quiet side street location. House keeping did a great job during out stay and check in was very quick. Double room also cane with a single bed so plenty of room to spread out. Only...
