It is terrible. Food was cold. Sides we ordered did not turn up. No mustard for our steak despite asking three times. Service terrible. Have now complained to the Hotel twice but have had no reply! What a pity that one of the main Hotels in Glasgow has nothing to offer other than a nice view.

The rooms are: Old Tired Noisy Uncomfortable. At the back of hte hotel is the station, the windows are single glazed so let all the noise in. when the station opened, all I could hear are the announcements, so not possible to sleep. In between announcements you have people walking on the old floors that are so noisy that I... More

I'm pleased to be home for a good night's sleep as unfortunately not something I got at this hotel. The location is perfect for City Centre and it's literally next door to the train station, which is a good point ... however with that comes such a lot of noise, if you are used to peace and quiet, trying to... I ate here as part of a group booking, with a small menu. I expected a good quality of food from a hotel like this, and even better when the choice is so small, but boy, was I wrong! I ordered a fish dish, and the fish was raw in the middle. It doesn't take much to cook fish through,... More

Stayed here for a business trip. Nice staff, good facilities, prompt room service and good breakfast. The location is good for those wishing to explore Glasgow. The parking is a bit of a pain for those with a hire car but the ncp is 10 minutes walk away

In this established hotel in the heart of Glasgow, the morning coffee and lunch experiences are and relaxing and efficient. The food is to a good standard, fresh and well presented. The service is exceptional. Attentive, swift but unobtrusive, and knowledgeable. It suits the busy business meeting or the more leisurely tourist market. On-street parking is readily accessible, but limited... More

I had a booking at this hotel and ten minutes later I realised I had booked the wrong date and so tried to cancel the booking. Unfortunately the hotel would not allow this charging me the full amount for the room. I understood that there should always be a cooling off period when booking something online - for moments like... More

Sad to say this has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in Scotland. The front of house staff were rude and unfriendly, the rooms and central areas are in desperate need of redecoration. Facilities very limited e.g. No wifi This place needs serious investment to bring up to standard. I feel really ripped off and urge people to... More

Stayed here whilst I was on business in Glasgow. The hotel is very rundown and is in desperate need of refurbishment. The room I was in was terrible. The bathroom smelt of mould as no extraction fan, the room was like a corridor with the TV at the other end of the room to the bed meaning you couldn't watch... More
