The reception area is beautiful but the room was very dated, with strange stains on the ceiling. The lighting was also very poor and the milk provided in the room was out of date. Who knew UHT milk could do that...

We were making a return visit after two years with granddaughter now four, she still remembered her first visit and looking over to Christmas lights in George Square. Scott in reservations was marvellous and we manage to get our requests granted for adjoining club rooms with great view of Square. The rooms were large and welcoming and we took advantage...

Having walked past this hotel loads of times whilst visiting Glasgow always wanted to stay, wish now I had kept walking. Rooms were average and in need of redecoration badly. Bathroom was ok but not to clean. Lifts were dirty & most times found staff using them to transport rubbish etc. Bar ran out of beer & Bacardi. Glad I...

I love afternoon tea. I am an expert in the wonderful tradition! This was the worst tea we have ever had. We joined another six friends as a pre-Christmas treat and I now wish we had gone elsewhere. The service from the get go was dreadful. Having to ask to order drinks, confusion over pre-booked vouchers, having to ask to...

I've been wanting to stay here for a while as it looks so nice from the outside. Room was disappointing ceiling was peeling in corner and curtain was hanging off in one corner which they did try and fix but could not and maintenance was not in at weekend. Room really in need of decoration and new carpet, bathroom not...

The ploughman was a cheese n pickle n salad sandwich. From the food landing on...

On looking for this hotel under "Glasgow Hotels", the fact it was listed as number 77 out of 95 tells it all...We booked here for a couple of nights in a suite this week, based on previous visits, albeit several years ago. The suite was awful, costing about £353 for two nights, facing the station rather than George Square, which...

I stopped here for a quick lunch on my way from the station to an event. The staff were friendly and my drink arrived quickly, but my baked potato took ages and was over cooked and dry, and the tuna filling seemed past its best and contained onion which did not improve things. A couple next table had to leave...

The Millennium is situated perfectly in George Square. The rooms are large and comfortable with great heating/air con. There's a lovely conservatory area in the bar where you can have a drink or take afternoon tea. The staff are friendly and helpful, although the checking in process seemed quite muddled, with the hotel later reporting no record of the credit...

The Millennium looks so nice from the outside and a wonderful location. Unfortunately that's were the compliments end. We were a group attending a Christmas party night. Not a pleasant experience and possibly the worst food I have tasted, the frozen roast potatoes and parsnips tasted of acrid fat. The cheesecake dessert and duck pate starter both looked as if...
