Firstly Il start with the positives. It's a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining room is really pretty and the breakfast was nice. I had the continental breakfast and could help myself to as much as I wanted! Also the price is good for the city centre. But that's pretty much were the positives stop...

I stayed here overnight when attending a concert. I chose the place for its proximity to the station as I had to get an early train. The hotel itself is ok but a little on the tired side. However, the bed was comfortable and the room clean. I was at the back with an unglamorous view of the side wall...

The hotel entrance is on Union Street . If any disabilities, it may be a little too much as the foyer is up a number of stairs. The rooms are on different levels too. Our room had a plumbing problem so we were offered a 3 bedded room. It was spacious, clean and well stocked with coffee, tea, water etc....

Yeah, you read that right. Efficient is the word I used to describe the Rennie Mackintosh Hotel. Every time I visit Glasgow, I choose to stay here. Here are the reasons why: 1) Price (cheap), 2) Quality of Rooms (average, bed sheets are clean, but the windows are too dusty due to the rails being nearby). The only thing I...

The staff were quite friendly and the atmosphere was warm. The room was adequate for want we wanted just needed a bit of a dusting here and there. Central location so easy to walk to places instead of sitting in traffic in a car.

This hotel is in a great location very handy to shopping etc and Glasgow green. However having stayed in Alexander Thompson (its sister hotel) I was disappointed. The seating in lounge is uncomfortable and I could not have spent much time there in the evening. There was no comfortable chair in the bedroom which meant that there was nowhere comfortable...

Stayed here a Friday night for just the one night. Quiet room considering the location on a buy road, but very high up. Was comfortable and spacious. Reception was friendly enough and helpful. Cooked breakfast in the morning was good. Can't fault the place really for the price. Location is unbeatable too so worked a treat for us. Will be back...
